Two Rivers Coffee Roaster — Restaurant in Portage

The baked goods looked delicious although I didn't try one. I ordered "Michelle's Favorite" as an Americano with cream. Michelle's favorite is a hazelnut caramel latte apparently. The drink lacked flavor and the coffee tasted average. However, it seems like there is a shortage of coffee shops in Wisconsin, so I am not quick to offer too much criticism. I will be back that is for sure!

I am not sure how to respond to comments on this app, so I will just add my reply here. My comment about flavor could absolutely be due to my order of an americano instead of a latte. I am not a big fan of Starbucks, their drinks are a little too sweet for me and their coffee has a little bit of a burnt flavor. Perhaps I just like an in between amount of flavor from what I recieved at this coffee shop. Regardless, I will be back. Please don't take my review negatively and I encourage everyone to check out this shop! 😊

Also, I loved that the cold drinks didn't have straws! Very environmentally conscious, and I appreciate that as a consumer! Saving the world one piece of plastic...

I'm very disappointed in my first visit to this little shop. When I stopped in, they had a little sign in the case that said muffins for $2. I figured they were probably day old but thought I would buy one for everyone at work. After placing the order for 16, the employee rang me up and the total was $46. I referred to the sign and she said she didn't have a 50% off button to use so the best that could be done was 30%. I had already placed the order so although they wouldn't honor the price I completed the transaction. My items were bagged up and I was on my way. I returned to work and took out one of the muffins and was even more disappointed. Rock hard and dry. Like I said I figured possibly day old but I feel they were older than that and I feel like I shouldn;t share them with anyone so they went in...

We have come here consistently for a couple years.

We have been getting iced coffee the last few days with the heat. Unfortunately we pulled up late each day and missed out on cold brew. The woman who's name I didn't get let us know and offered us iced coffee.

Today a different cashier rang us up for cold brew but when the woman from the last few days came up she told us they only had iced coffee. The cashier was really rude to her and said it's the same.

The woman refunded us the cold brew cost and was honest about the price difference and obvious drink difference.

The woman who has been honest and kind, I did not get her name but she wears glasses.

We will continue to come in because we love the coffee, the danish we got are so flakey and perfect and that woman's honesty made all...
