Portage Asian Cuisine — Restaurant in Portage

We took a drive on a beautiful Monday and ended up in Portage, mid-afternoon with stomachs growling. We chose to eat here as Chinese sounded appealing to our vegetarian diets. We had the lunch options of tofu cashew with brown rice with vegetables (carrots, celery & pea pods,) and tofu with mixed vegetables (same veggies,) with brown rice. Both came with soup or egg roll. We each had the hot/sour soup. The entrees were excellent as was the soup. We each had a bottle of beer, each at least than $4 each. (A glass of Wollersheim wine is $4.75 - very reasonable since the same at Buck & Honey's in Madison is $12!) The waitress was very hospitable & sweet. The restaurant was spacious & clean. (The restrooms were also VERY clean!) We got out of there with hunger satisfied & all for less than $25! We'll be back! (sorry, forgot pics &...

Some sushi was....Meh... But, the sushi rolls were pureed fish instead of good fresh whole chunks which tasted not great to say the least. We couldn't​ even taste the difference between the yellow tail, tuna, or the crab sushi rolls. The rice wraps were weak and barely held the rolls together. The portions we're small for the order and very over priced for the portions. The service was slower but I don't mind if the food is good, but it wasn't. It's not uncommon for us to order $60-$150 in sushi and drinks at any place. This was our 3rd time here and still disappointed. I will never go back. I wouldn't suggest going there either until their price reflects the food. And their fish could be a hell of...
