Honestly of of the best restaurants in porterville food is GREAT!! we are loyal customers and eat here about 3-4 days out of the week we love it however the reason for 1 star is the service and I would like to speak to the owner and discuss what I was told her "SALSA POLICY" apparently the employees are instructed to only give out 1-3 cups of salsa per order and we order a lot of food from them and I am still harassed about asking for 5 cups of salsa I was so annoyed the other day I gave them an extra 1$ for 2 cups of salsa and as you're pouring the salsa they look at you like watching that you don't take too much i've never been to a mexican restaurant that makes it a priority to monitor salsa I mean what is that? like I told the employee we spend a lot of money there we like the food we don't mind paying but this is just ridiculous I hope the owner sees this and makes it right because we might have to take our...
Read moreGIVE ME MORE FRIES!! 😭😭 It was my first time ordering burger from “El Maguey,” but I originally wanted to order the special of the day (which is posted on their facebook stories) but I didn’t order it since it’s only made available during specific times apparently 😑😑 I was pretty disappointed since they NEVER specified time in their post and I waited to order around 3:00 pm thinking i’d be able to. I’m hoping they’ll do that soon since it would’ve been good to know beforehand. The burger was pretty good nevertheless. It was cheesy, juicy, and warm. I gave them two stars however because I was expecting more fries than what i got. Cuz man! They were STINGY WITH THE FRIES!! This order doesn’t include a drink, so c’mon. I have to AT LEAST get a good amount of fries for my buck! I don’t think i’ll order again, go to Super Burger...
Read moreI stopped in to grab a to go order and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Very helpful with the menu and taking my order. My order went to the kitchen and was ready within about 10 minutes. The wet burritos were large and super delicious. Very yummy. One was Carne Asada and the Al Pastor was really delicious! The only thing I felt was that for almost $5, the rice and beans was a tiny portion. The wet burritos were large and delicious and very full of food. Very filling. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other foods!
Ate in this time, but stuck with the wet burrito with green sauce. It came out hot and delicious. It was filled with chile verde, delicious rice and beans. I got a Jarritos with it which paired really nicely...
