Look, maybe I did something wrong, I don't know. I'm certainly capable of it, but here's my problem. The owner clearly dislikes me. She gives rude, one word answers. Sometimes she completely ignores me, even when she comes to our table. If I've done something (gotten too drunk, said something inappropriate, forgotten a tab, ANYTHING), I would love to know what that IS so I can try to make amends. HOWEVER, the owner won't let me speak to her unless I'm giving my order, and even then, she glares at me and doesn't respond unless I tell her exactly what I want EVEN WHEN I'M THE ONLY ONE THERE. This behavior is specific to me, as I have watched her greet other customers warmly, even while I'm attempting to speak with her. Seriously, she will walk away from me mid-sentence to greet someone else with the kind of welcome that would keep me stopping by.

Look dude, if I screwed up, I understand. The reason I'm giving you a low score is that you openly refuse to give me a chance to fix this, or even tell me why you're so mad.

If I'm being a heel, please let me know. I'm just trying to have a good relationship with my otherwise awesome, local pub.

You have my best, most earnest wishes.

Clearly...

The number one hidden gem is SW Portland. I live part time in SW Portland and also in Gleneden Beach. The Bullseye Pub has the best service and the food is great. The service is way above the other establishments in the area. Ryan is SO amazing. The place can be extremely busy, and he still always gives us top notch service and always makes us feel like we are his only patrons. He is the reason we keep going back. Tonight we had the Prime Rib special, the prime rib was cooked to perfection, the baked potato and veggies were ideal as well. I also want to give Ian a shout out, as he is awesome too. I have only been there once when he was working, another great guy. I used to frequent another place close by, but because of the service at the Bullseye, I prefer to spend my money where we are treated like gold. Thank You Bullseye for treating me like a local. Above and beyond, 5 plus stars. Great service is the key, you...

DIVE BAR BULLSEYE

This place has ample TVs and booths to watch sports. The menu has some homemade items that are outstanding for bar food. We love coming in on a weekend to watch sports on channels we don’t have at home.

Service is friendly and on the ball. We never were without a drink and food came out fast.

Only drawback to this joint are the gambling-addicted folks who are obviously down on their luck frequently using the ATM machine and acting weird at the bar. I would definitely watch my wallet and purse around this crowd. It’s too bad they can’t be fully contained in the video lottery room.

UPDATE:

I finally had the Monday prime rib special for $19 and HOLY HECK!!!! It is a screaming deal. The meal is huge with a potato, veggies, au jus, and garlic toast. You even get to request how you want your prime rib done (mine came out medium well when ordered...

Tasty food and great service. Small interior though and the booths are very small. Only way to sit a group larger than 4 is the single middle table. I had the bullseye burger which also has their brisket on it. It was delicious but some of the brisket was a tad chewy. There were also a ton of veggies on it compared to the meat ratio. Overall it’s a good burger to have. Also it was a large burger with all the stuff piled onto it. For my side I opted for the fries with cheese and bacon on them. They were also good but not spectacular. I also think the position size of the fries was small. I don’t understand why restaurants don’t give you a massive pile of fries. Potatoes are super cheap. In the end I was pleased and surprised by this place. For sure I’ll be going back.

Great corner spot with a covered outdoor patio. There’s a few televisions that play sports matches of all kinds (one was showing an eating competition) that are faced towards the outdoor patio so you can watch from outside. Small and cozy inside with great art. Fantastic service. The nachos were our highlight - highly recommend adding the smoked brisket. 🤯 whoever was controlling the playlist was doing a stellar job. Pet friendly spot that provides water to pups. Lots of awesome daily specials. Pumped to go back.
