Burgerville should be ASHAMED and embarrassed of themselves!! As you read on you too might arrive at the same level of resentment that I now harbor for the franchise.
A friend and I dinned in with enthusiasm as Burgerville has been a long time northwest favorite, known for their tasy burgers and delicious seasonal deserts.
He ordered the No. 6 basket and I selected their bacon cheese burger basket. After paying $33.29 we self served our beverages, found a booth and eagerly waited for our food to arrive. Within 5 minutes, the friendly young man arrived with piping hot french fries and our lunch was off to a great start...until I picked up my burger.
My burger had zero heft to it, an uncommon experience as Burgerville's flagship burgers are historically heavy! Heavy enough to rival Carl Jr's $6 dollar burger (yes I'm aware Carl's Jr calls it something different now) but apparently their patties are keeping to their new years resolution because, the weight is WAAAAY down!
After unwrapped it I was taken aback by just how small the sandwich was as a whole. You'd think they'd at least load it up with a bunch of lettuce like Burger King, but nope - this thing looked like a kids meal burger.
I passed my sandwich to my friend and asked him to hold both sandwiches and tell me which one he thought felt heavier. He determined that his sandwich with two bites out of it STILL felt heavier than mine with one bite. He passed me his burger, I compared both weights and agreed.
After a second bite I decided that this sandwich didn't appropriately represent the $16 I'd paid and decided to take it to the counter to get answers. Perhaps the order was taken wrong. Perhaps I HAD mistakenly received a kids burger patty.
When I reached the counter the situation grew from alarming to just out and out comical. There was a woman in front of me at the counter talking with the same young man who'd also taken my order, and within a few moments I was able to determine that she was at the counter for the EXACT SAME grievance as myself.
Her and I briefly discussed it and she recommended a better place where you actually get what you pay for. After speaking with the employee he confirmed that the line employee HAD in fact followed the recipe and my sandwich was made correctly. I explained how disappointed I was and asked him to please exchange my burger for the same one my friend ordered as we established that somehow that one comes out larger.
It's difficult to convey to you guys just how disappointed I am in Burgervile without using inappropriate language. If Burgervile corporate reads this I hope they realized that they have lost a loyal 30 year long customer and I encourage you to also take your...
Read moreI really love this place! Very good food. A little bit expensive, but well worth it. No complaints on quality that's for sure. But, tipping the drive thru? Feeling obligated, the employees facial expression when you don't give what they thought you should give is enough to only be able to tip maximum for a smile and I can't afford to go there as much as I used to. My once a week has turned into once a month and I am sad about that. It should be up to the business to fill in that gap in pay because they love their employees and an incentive to step up customer service and be the best they can be because they work for a place that cares about their employees, not leave it to the drive thru crowd to pay what the employer should be paying. There's a reason we did not go in or dine in, anywhere else is because I'm thinking quick and easy, that deserves a no pressure order, at cost. So they didn't get a "four paws up" because I did not feel happy when departing from the drive through not realizing that the employee would be so disappointed ( by the frown and the dry tone in her voice "thanks" as she pulled back away avoiding any eye contact she shoved my big bag at me). I pushed the tip button on her tablet and I had picked the lowest tip. I still feel bad. If I didn't have the dog with me I would have went back to give...

I'm in love with this place right now; not only is their food EXCELLENT 👌👍
But that's not why I originally came through those doors...
See, my electric wheelchair was dying (last red light on the monitor and it was blinking and the dreaded alarm started beeping; I'm miles away from home, and my chair starts singing the hymns of a death march on me...I tried every place in the neighborhood, gas stations, bars, stores... EVERYTHING...
And no one could spare an outlet...they could hear my chair beeping...
I was on my last leg (literally, as in, I'm an amputee...) and frightened about what I was going to do about my impending doom with every beep this thing was making ...
Here I sit, with my delicious burger, JoJos and coke...such a delicious meal and I'm so grateful with each and every bite; I keep crying 😭🥺🥺
They saved me today! May blessings be abundantly provided for everyone working here right now! Look at yourself in the mirror, be proud of where you work at and tell your self you've done a wonderful thing today! 💗
And if you're out there hungry and looking for someplace to eat, come here! Food is as great as the employees who serve it!
Excellent establishment!
Thank you, genuinely! You've...
