This is my first positive review ever, but these crafting kits really came in clutch for quarantine more than a few times for me. First up was a datenight. I thought ahead and ordered two string and nail art pieces for me and my girlfriend to work on while practicing quarantine safety measures. We needed something else to do besides settle for Netflix. I didn't think my girlfriend would have been that into it, but to this very day, she will tell you that was our best datenight of the year. Really engaging project and easy to follow instructions, and I looked felt like a hero. Then I ordered the Kokedama.. because, I mean, if you like plants at all, and you see that while browsing the crafts, how do you not add 3 to your virtual shopping cart? That project made me feel like I was a professional botanist. I have two kokedamas hanging in my shower and one sits on my windowsill next to other plant friends. I also ordered the hanging basket one, the name is escaping me, but I plan on ordering more of those and it will be THE only way plants are hung at my house. I love these crafts. They keep coming up with new ideas, these guys are.... CRAFTY. And I am not so crafty, but you couldn't tell with my...

I went here last night. The crafts are a bit expensive but fun. The drink selection was tiny, but my biggest problem was the rude bartender. I didn't even have a chance to go to the bar area yet and the bartender came to my table, because she was listening in on my conversation with my friend and needed to prove a point to me. I told my friend that I didn't see something that was written on the instructions, so she felt the need to come up to me and in a completely not helpful way, prove her point that I was wrong. I didn't order any drinks after that. As a crafter, I always get all of my materials ready before I start a craft, and there is a large selection of grab-it-yourself supplies, so when I couldn't find something, I asked where they were. Apparently this is forbidden? They didn't like that I was getting the materials now instead of the exact moment that the instructions said to. Maybe if there was better communication as I checked in, I would have known this. My friend and I just felt lost when we got there. It just made me feel really unwelcome. I'd pass on...

I dropped in to do lap top work and have a beverage to hydrate myself from a long day. The greeting was very hospitable. I was unknowing of a craft bar and the concept, which was explained to me sounded very appealing. Adam and his female co-worker were amazingly friendly projected top tier customers service skills. Sadly, 5 min after I was served my beverage just before 8:30p my mom called me to share with me how proud she was of Kamala’s debate performance last night. Though I am non-partisan, I empathize with the emotions with whoever I speak regardless of their political affiliation. During my conversation with my mom, I was abruptly told by the female worker at DIY Bar that I needed to leave the premises asap. They told me they were closed at 8:30p even though their hours posted are 9p. They dumped my beverage and told me to leave. Not sure if I was not allowed to be on my phone or they did not share in my mom’s excitement? Regardless, I will book an appt with one my kids to do a daddy date as the place...

What a FUN TIME! My friend and I had a blast creating leather wallets together at the DIY bar! The staff is super friendly and very helpful. They have a great selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and there’s also a little cafe attached and you can get coffee and other things from there and bring it into the space while you craft. Again, The staff was great. The experience was 10/10. We will definitely be back to try another craft. I also like the fact that we could have worked on one craft together if we wanted, but we decided to each do our own. For the most part, the instructions are very easy to follow and the staff were quick to help with any parts we got stuck on. I definitely recommend this to people of any age who like to craft. They also have a great loyalty program we signed up for. It was an awesome time, something totally different than the norm, and I can’t wait to try a different project next time!

I am not a crafty person, but this place proved that even people like me can complete complicated crafts! A friend of mine reserved this for a girls day out. It was easy to find. Its a fairly small place. There was one other group and a couple of workers. There were a handful of crafts to choose from. I do wish there were more options. There were examples you could look at. There were very thorough instructions. I only got stuck on one part, in which I asked for help. The workers were accessible and there if needed. I would say its not as easy as expected, but worth it and its a great team activity.

This spot is so freaking cool! I wasn’t sure what to expect when I said I wanted to make a clutch. I thought it would have been precut and all I have to do is the basics: dye, sew, and that’s it. But nope nope nope, I created a clutch from scratch! It was such an awesome experience. Adam and the other staff member (I forgot to catch their name) were so nice and so patient. They walked around a few times to check in on folks. They also helped me out a few times because of user error. Their drink options were pretty solid as well! I’m definitely bringing my friends and family when they come to visit.
