Last winter, our yearly ski group found itself staying at an Air BnB near Pepe's place. One night, we ventured out for late night munchies and his was the only place close that looked open. But as we walked up, we realized he had just finished closing up. Then, magic happened. Pepe threw open his window with a big hello, fired up his cold grill and got to slinging tortillas and beans, staying open just for us! Everything was supurb. Exactly what one looks for in street tacos and burritos, delicious and hearty portions with loads of flavor. And his sauces are savory with all ranges of kick. We opted to walk back to his spot three more times over our trip, and even drove there on our way back from spending the day out on My. Hood slopes. Pepe, you're amazing. I ordered the Chicken Chimichanga. I have to say the meat, beans and rice were very flavorful meat had kind of a cinnamon kick to it (not overpowering). The fried tortilla was extremely delicious and fried to perfection. Chimichanga is large enough to feed more than one person. However I must say they are stingy with toppings hot sauce and customer service was not friendly. This was my first time as a customer and I went up to pick up my order she asked if I wanted sour cream and I was like of course anything that comes with it. She said that’s all that comes with it in a very monotone voice, well most restaurants offer lettuce tomatoes, guacamole and a dollop of sour cream with Chimichangas. I have a friendly dog and when walking up the stairs to order an unsupervised dog was in the corner and my dog got excited, no contact was made but immediately I was accused of kicking the owner's dog which is not true and his camera will show it!. The person that I assume is a owner immediately said do not serve HIM ! and yelled at me for kicking his dog he screamed at me for doing that which everyone knows my dog and I from being in the neighborhood.
