I’ve had my order completely forgotten three times in just a few months. Always the same barista making the order. I don’t know what I did to annoy her. The last forgotten order I had to inquire about was made swiftly, but the mocha I got was downright malicious. Basically day old drip without any chocolate in it at all. I had to pitch it.
I’ve been frequenting this place for a while. I bring my dog here. I recommend it to my friends as a cool, safe place for people of all sorts to hang out. I’m always polite. I clean my table when I order in. I tip 25% every time.
But this last time, the same barista didn’t even acknowledge me when she handed me my toilet water mocha. Again, I don’t know what I did to draw such ire, but I’m not going to continue to frequent a place with staff that don’t want me there.
Don’t get me wrong. A lot of the employees here are wonderful. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is great. The location is awesome. Sometimes, I just get the feeling I’m just not welcome. I’ll take the hint and go...

EITHER/OR keeps things simple in a way that's refreshing to me, and seems to be doing all of it well! the baristas were very friendly and easy to chat with if you wanted to take a seat at their FULL BAR! such a great spot to meet up that isn't ridiculously busy and seems to be on the relatively easy end of snagging a spot to get stuff done. i had a vanilla latte that was, respectfully, yummy delicious. the vanilla and caramel sauces were made in-house, and i believe their lavender as well but don't quote me on that. highly recommend this shop as a place to unwind hanging out in trendy portland, a fun spot for sure. Read moreThis used to be a frequent, favorite for us. Over the last few months, they leave out the bacon on our bacon breakfast sandwich we ordered. Not once or twice, but 5 or more times over 8 orders or so. I spoke with a staff member last time and they said orders come through showing bacon and that they should be made that way. I get a lot of businesses have staffing issues with COVID and I thought we'd give it another try. Nope! No bacon again today and my email receipt shows bacon and charged me for bacon. Never going back. It should be expected to get what you order and what you paid for, but not here. Shouldn't have to open up my sandwich before I leave to see if it has in it what you paid for.
