This studio is gorgeous and has some of the best teachers I’ve found in Portland. I’ve toured several studios downtown, in the Pearl, and NW, but this studio by far out performs the others on the North side and offers a wide range of classes at convenient times. The amazing decor (paper lantern goodness!) and cleanliness of the studio enhances the yoga experience of each class. I particularly like the balance between a traditional yoga approach as well as options to take HIIT style classes. Literally something for everyone. Has early morning and late evening classes for traditional work schedules. Classes are not packed. Front desk is always friendly. PARKING IN THE PARKING GARAGE ROCKS! I have tried 3-4 other studios that are closer to where I live but still choose Namaste over those studios because it’s flat out better and worth the money (same or less prices for better experiences).
Definitely try out the new...
Read moreAs a native to Portland, I've tried out many of the local yoga studios and Namaste on Williams is definitely one of my favorites. The space is clean and serene- thoughtfully designed and invokes a sense of calm and lightness at first step through the door. Great variety of class and schedule offerings. I love that their classes strike the right balance of challenge and relaxation, always with a thoughtful message and a strong focus on the breath.
What I've come to appreciate most at NOW is the warm and welcoming community. Having been a member for several months now, the instructors have made a point to get to know me and always ask how I'm doing. They often host events to support local causes, artists, and other small businesses. It's such a supportive group of people and I'm thankful to be...
Read moreI love this studio. I started off using Classpass to attend Lauren Bielenberg's Sculpt + Flow classes and ended up just getting a membership to the studio because I wanted to be here all the time! Lauren is an amazing teacher. She is personable and approachable, her flows are challenging, functional, and interesting, yet accessible. She does a fantastic job of not only offering modifications but also remembering the unique needs of clients and supporting them individually. I've been to vinyasa classes with several different instructors here and I've never been disappointed. There is a beautiful, welcoming, and vibrant community here and I hope to be a part of it...
