As a Mexican-American taco enthusiast, stumbling upon El Yucateco Food Cart was a revelation. Initially drawn by my love for tacos, I was skeptical when my Midwestern friend recommended I try their panuchos. However, one bite was all it took to convert me into a devoted panucho aficionado. My first foray into panuchos left me with a pang of regret for not ordering more. Since that fateful day, I've become a regular patron, making the pilgrimage to El Yucateco whenever my cravings strike. The staff, with their warm smiles and genuine hospitality, only add to the experience. I must commend the staff's attentiveness, as they not only cater to my cravings but also ensure my friends are well taken care of. I couldn't help but chuckle when they graciously offered chips to my friend as she attempted to salvage the remnants of her vegetarian panuchos with her fingers. I can’t blame her though, that avocado salsa is like liquid heaven!

First time here. Had high ratings so I came to see why. I was not disappointed. The menu (see pic] is large and clear and there is a discount for local students. The pricing is great and based on our serving size they probably don't pay themselves enough. I had their asada fries (this is large enough for your meal) and I ordered a quesadilla. The fries were excellent. The quesadilla was very oily/greasy. It was good but too oily. I also tried the horchata Boba. Nice drink. Too much boba (filled 1/3 of my cup). The cart was fairly well situated though both awnings were being held up with wooden sticks as the struts were worn out. I may offer to repair in exchange for some food 🤔 I will come again and am excited to try other menu items.

Can't lie, we've passed this place about a hundred times bc we always get Thai from a restaurant in the same parking lot. Bummer, bc this cart is so legit. We got chorizo and bacon breakfast burritos, and of course horchata. All the salsas are amazing (which is rare!) but my personal fave was the combo of medium and avocado (left and middle in the photos). The tortillas are Southern California-esque, and the horchata is my new favorite in Portland (2nd fave is Taqueria Santa Cruz in Gresham). My San Diegan husband approves! Added bonuses, the guy who took our order was an absolute delight, and they have a few outdoor tables, if you don't mind eating right off Sandy Blvd. We'll definitely be frequenting this place very often. 👍👍👍

The Chile relleno burrito here is by far one of the best burritos I’ve ever had. Everything inside it was perfect, and you definitely get your money’s worth with how dang full they are. The Al pastor/egg flavors mixing with the spiciness of the cheesy Chile relleno was an experience of immense flavor. Definitely getting this again. We also sipped on the horchata boba tea which turned out to be super creamy and sweet. If you like the idea of a vanilla-y blended tea with squishy fresh tapioca pearls, give it a try. We also got a side of crispy fries, which the sweet lady working had recommended we try as they are “addicting.” She was not kidding; we were happy to have listened. Overall, a very tasty dinner.

Great and fresh burrito. The way they cooked the tortilla was outstanding, I absolutely loved a grilled tortilla the way they did it. The burrito I got was veggie, and had pickled onions and other fresh ingredients and was delicious, one of the freshest tasting burritos I've had. The drink was jamaica hibiscus and wasn't too sweet, which is great, I hate when places just add tons of sugar to drinks. Would have rather had horchata, but the option wasn't available on the app I ordered from. The sauces were something special, the avocado was airy almost like a whipped sauce. The habanero was spicy and sorta sweet. Both delicious. Overall easy 5 star.

Went here after a friend raved about how good their food is. I was not disappointed! The food here is amazing and the service is wonderful. The fajita burrito was so flavorful, I highly recommend it. We also tried the supreme burrito which was tasty too but I'd say go for the fajita burrito instead; it's the same thing but with fajita veggies added. The habanero sauce is amazing too. I'm looking forward to trying more menu items! I just wish there was another location closer in SE PDX so I could order regularly. It's my new favorite place for burritos
