Sandy Pub — Restaurant in Portland

Most readers will probably berate me for writing this post, but I was raised some 60+ years ago to call out things as I see them without regret. So to those whom I may offend, my apologies in advance...

This pub is home to a group of mostly misogynistic, racist, violent and small minded clientele. Not really a pleasant place to have an open minded conversation with anyone let alone enjoy a decent taste served in an actual shot glass. Although the servers here have been very friendly, and very attentive to me and my wife, they have also been able to handle the absolutre craziness in this zoo for the most part., but I for one will not be back after trying many times... in fact I would highly recommend skipping this bar, unless this is really your kind of thing...even if you enjoy playing the machines, spend your hard earned money...

Customer service is awesome here, but their food selection isn’t the best. They have a full bar with limited selections, and a few beers on draft. Lots of video poker and usually a chair available, and a wide selection of chilled alcohol beverages in a cooler near by.

Small pub with Oregon lottery games, cigarette sales, and beer and wine coolers by the 6 and 4 pack respectively can be purchased to go.
