Smart Bins — Local services in Portland

So this place was awesome when it first opened up there's big boxes of great vines, ranging from $15-$1 depending on which day of the week you went. They also had a Saturday raffle that you entered online. Then you would win a free item as opposed to the raffle. Now where you have to stand in line to get a ticket.In order to win the chance to pay for something at a low price. I haven't been in there since the beginning of June when this was the way things work, they apparently have since changed it now. The bins are $2 every day of the week, they have a higher individually priced vip section, which is the entire outer wall, with all of the stuff that would have been in the bins previously. The stuff that's actually in the bins, is a junk that you could find at the dollar store. There's not really anything worth going in for unless you're going to the vip section, which can be up to $50. So I posted my experience today and how disappointed I was in how they've changed the store and ruined the concept of what was a great store. And they blocked me on social media. So here, I am leaving an actual review. You will not find anything great in the bins for $2. Not worth your time, highly recommend going to the goodwill...

I really like this store and all it's cool finds. It's great for Christmas shopping. Make sure you have them open boxes for you. Especially big items. Twice I have came home with a completely different item inside. Even when they have printed out a picture with what's inside and trapped it to the box. I don't really care for the $2 summer sale. There is so much garbage to look through that I wouldn't pay a dime for that it's overwhelming. I'll for sure be back after they cut back on...

I don’t know if me finding this store is going to be very good for me lol prices were amazing & the staff were super friendly. This might become a problem for me, but I will worry about that later. Today was my first time going, $3 days, I spent $24 & got a ton of brand new makeup that run $26 each.
