GOL PDX — Restaurant in Portland

I ordered delivery from here, I was looking for Ćevapi and I found this restaurant which replaced a restaurant that used to make Ćevapi. just to be clear, Gol doe NOT have Ćevapi but I did have some incredibly cute and yummy sliders with these well seasoned almost Greek-style fries and broccolini that was so, so, good that I kept going back to the leftovers. I ate it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner until it was gone lol this was a very pleasant surprise find while searching for Ćevapi💕

I came back to update this, last month (in Aug) I was craving their broccolini but it's a seasonal item, I called and asked them if they had it and they said they'd make it as a special for the day the next day. I'd only ordered delivery but I actually came in and I was so excited to have the broccolini. it really hit the spot. You guys are awesome and the food is always yummy and the service is great! this place is great, or should I say...

I've been a Gol regular nearly since the opened. It is by far the best place I have found in Portland to watch soccer.

The staff are fantastic, and the environment, especially during major tournaments and big games, is always lively and entertaining.

Five (5) tvs inside and two (2) outside provide Gol the ability to show numerous games at once, which makes it easy to keep up with EPL, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, and La Liga simultaneously. They also show many games from Liga MX and Central and South American leagues.

The food is always great, even during tournaments when they switch to a smaller menu to keep things simple for the kitchen.

10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a great atmosphere to watch sports!

I'm super impressed with how the new owners have kept the culture and heart of this sports bar alive. It was devastating to hear that 4-4-2 was closing, then being taken over by new owners. But these folks have done a tremendous job making my favorite soccer bar just as wonderful as ever. Been coming here almost daily this summer to watch the Euros and I am NOT disappointed.

We had a few empanadas, fruit cups and bagels while watching the games and was pleasantly surprised. This place isn't really known for its food, but the fact that it was tasty was definitely a perk. Super impressive how fast service can be when the place is packed (plus CLEAN bathrooms)! Appreciated how the owners are almost always on site serving folks....
