Had been eagerly waiting to try Grana and finally made it in last week for an evening dinner. All in a lovely meal and great atmosphere. I will start by saying definitely make reservations ahead of time. We had one, but sitting at the front of the restaurant we counted at least about dozen parties come in and then proceed to leave after hearing about the hour plus wait. The atmosphere is lovely inside. The tones are warm, the art is nice, and the pink tile lines the back while by the pizza oven. We were sat unfortunately at the very first table which is typically not my preference but I understand given the time of day. The chef’s counter looked like a fun option if you wanted to mingle a little more and the owner I believe was the one cooking up the pies which is awesome. Food overall was super tasty. It’s a lighter and doughier pizza than folks are maybe used to. Certainly more authentic neopolitan style. The flavors were rich and tasty. Dough had good flavor and the tomato sauce you could just tell was fresh. We wound up getting two pizzas and an app which I think is the right amount for two folks to share. The white bean spread was a delicious starter and came with tasty bread. Service all around was great. Wait staff were kind and efficient. If anything I wished less folks had come in to ask about availability because it meant the cold air kept leaking in but I understand that isn’t in control of the restaurant. Great date night spot overall!

Came for dinner, there were spots available at both bar and dining room. You are supposed to order through the qr code and when you order you also pay. Very limited wine selections by glass(only 1 red and one white)with no descriptions(not everyone knows Italian). Also nothing indicates all items ordered come at once or altogether. Meanwhile I sat for about 10 mins trying to order and peruse items. Then I sat for another 15 on wine, and another 20 for food. I ordered a salad and pizza and got them both at the same time. I wanted to try another glass of wine and then spent another 5 mins QR coding it up and then needing to pay and offer a tip again? How can I really rate service when you implement technology and myself to do everything. The dining experience is void here. I still had a half of a glass of wine left, and lady came by to my plate and said I hope you have a great day and it felt like I was being kicked out. What if I wanted desert? Or maybe to finish my wine? Food was good the Margherita got cold quick. The Cesar salad was delicious. I would maybe go back to try more pizza or try pizza at lunch. But Ken's is better all around. They offer service, wine and cocktails and pizza is better.

Chicory Caesar Salad: This salad was delicious. The savory flavors hit right away. The high-quality olive oil shimmered on the plate, making it visually beautiful. The cheese was sharp, cutting through the richness of the dressing. The chicory was not too bitter, and I loved the crunch from the crispy bits. The lemon and olives made the salad “pop” even more. Margherita Pizza: it was simple and well-executed. The crust was crisp without being burnt, and the flavor of the olive oil really came through. The basil was fresh and fragrant, and the cheese was mild, allowing the sauce and crust to shine. Diavola Pizza: The Diavola was another hit. The meat had a sweet, savory flavor that paired beautifully with the chiles, which added a fruity flavor to the pizza. Again, the crust was phenomenal—flavorful and perfectly cooked. The drizzle of honey tied everything together. Tiramisu: This one was a miss for me. It was a little bland—the ricotta layer, in particular, could’ve used a touch of vanilla, in my opinion. Service & Atmosphere: The service was excellent. The food came out quickly, and the servers were on point. Overall, a great experience. I can't wait to come back!

We had a 5:30 reservation for 4 and were psyched to try everything. I wasn’t greeted at the door. And then was disappointed that it was an order by QR code situation. But I rolled with it. Ordered a glass of wine and an appetizer. More glasses of wine, a salad, a pizza. As our second and third pizza was delivered the waiter said “we need this table so we’re going to need you to finish up as soon as soon as possible.” Our table was gobsmacked. It was 7 on the dot and no one had told us we only had 1.5 hours to order, eat and leave. Had we had a waiter they could have let us know we only had the table reserved for a short period of time! There was already 4 people waiting for our table, staring at us. We had two full pizzas and full glasses of wine to….hurry through?! Had we not been rushed through, we had plans to order a pizza to go, more wine and multiple desserts! There was no apology. No communication at all until “please leave”. Just clearing plates in front of us as we tried to shove the pizza in our faces and wine down our gullets.

If you want to have a limited time on a table, you should have communication and a waiter to pace a meal properly so the diners get their food with plenty of time to enjoy their time/meal. You can’t have a time limit and a QR code. Maybe this works for lunch but not a good dinner experience. We were all so shocked and will be spreading our experience as I wouldn’t want anyone else to spend all that money and then leave as disappointed as we were.

In response to the restaurant’s reply below. No attempt (nor multiple attempts) was made by the waitstaff to assist and we ordered wine, an appetizer and a salad within the first 20 minutes (we checked our receipts for times). The restaurant’s review/context...

Super disappointing pick up experience...

I ordered the margarita pizza and caesar salad as a treat for myself after a hard work out. I got an estimated time of 1 hour till pick up which made sense to after reading reviews of long waits.I kept checking to make sure my order wasn't ready sooner since I didn't want to pick it up cold.

As I walked up to pick up my order my heart sank cause there was no line out the door and only 3 patrons inside. I realized that my order had probably been made over a half an hour earlier but no one updated the order. As I was waiting for someone to get my order I noticed that my order had still not been updated online as ready.

The pizza box came to with a cold wet bottom. I was too shocked to say something. As a place that I've read prides itself on quality and service I was truly not expecting this. Took it home and put the pizza in the oven but it was not the same. The salad was limp and soggy from being left on top of the pizza but there was good flavor.

I know things can happen and would be more forgiving if it was busy and order didn't get updated. But unfortunately the place was empty and there really is zero excuse to not update an order when ready or just wait to prepare it till closer to pick up time.

I'm sure dining in would have been better but this was my first and probably only time dining there. I will note that the order finally did say complete an hour after...
