I'm giving one star not for the food but for the way me and my family are treated. The food is fantastic but the waitresses are HORRENDOUS. If they think that you don't speak Chinese, they are 100% talking badly about you to other customers that do speak Chinese. When ever we say thank you they never ever say "You're welcome." One time I went to eat there with my dad. Just so you know, I am mixed. I look a little different, I get it. I'm very used to people looking at me or treating me in a weird way for it. But these waitresses made it so obvious that they were talking badly about me. They pointed directly at me when talking to other customers that spoke Chinese and would laugh among other things.. Of course they shut up as soon as my dad came back from the bathroom. These are full grown adults. Today though, we decided to eat there as a family. Immediately as soon as we walked in we we're welcomed with an attitude. We ate anyways. We usually tip on our way out at the cash register. As we were paying, the cashier and one of the waitresses started to yell at us claiming that we never leave tips which is not true at all. They weren't complaining about the tips we leave at the cash register,, they we're complaining about "table tips." Basically saying that my family has to pay double tips. They never ask of this to other people, only us.They yelled so much that the other customers started to look noticeably uncomfortable. We left a tip even though they very much did not deserve it. I don't want to set foot in...

Unfortunately this place has fallen from acceptable to practically inedible.

Beef rolls, uneven cooking of the shell led to it rupturing and being undercooked in spots. The meat was noticeably sour and kinda fishy.

Xialongbao were one of the highlights next alongside our tea. Still they came up short, not enough nutrient rich gelatin in the broth which gives the lip smacking texture and deep flavor. Sauce was detracting from the dumplings however. The skin at least held up without tear this time, which is some improvement. Could've used some salt.

Pork and shrimp dumplings. Illicits dainty well portioned parcels of land meets sea harmony. What hit my table was big enough it would leave welts when hurled. Not a deal breaker until you try to eat one. Wreaked of sesame oil, was inedibly dry, lazily and carelessly slapped together. Bland beyond saving. Searing them did not help either.

Chili oil wontons: dads order. Thin watery chili oil with flavorless chili crunchies over them. The skins were overfilled resulting in horrible imbalance. Filling was inexcusably flat in flavor. Hardly tasted the pork.

Per Pa Tofu.. way too slimy. Wreaked like spoiling fish, and the texture. Like snot covering a chicken nugget. The filling of tofu parcels is not supposed to be that dry and flavorless. Mushrooms were unevenly cooked, some undercooked. Others were overdone.

Couldn't finish of the dishes except the soup dumplings. Will not be...

My fiancé and I were craving Chinese food, and this spot had some promising Google reviews, so we decided to give it a try. Upon entering, there was a strong, stinky fish smell that was a bit overpowering. However, the staff was very friendly, kind, and helpful, which we appreciated.

The food looked amazing online, so we were excited. We ordered crab puffs as an appetizer, along with General Tso’s chicken and two orders of steamed rice rolls. The crab puffs and chicken came out just two minutes after we ordered, super fast, which made us wonder if they had been microwaved.

Unfortunately, the crab puffs were extremely hard and difficult to chew. They tasted stale. The General Tso’s chicken was also disappointing; the batter was very soft and lacked any crispiness. It honestly tasted like pancake batter, soft, fluffy, and not what we were expecting at all. It felt more like eating a pancake wrapped around chicken than a classic crispy dish.

The highlight of the meal was definitely the steamed rice rolls. They took a bit longer to come out, and I could hear them being freshly prepared in the kitchen. They were flavorful and clearly made to order—by far the best part of the meal. Overall, we were a bit...

Though they have the best hand pulled rice noodles on the planet, and I love this place my last experience here was rough. My noodles came out amazing and fast, and I also ordered the shrimp ha gow. Not only did it take almost 20 minutes to get them.. they were old. The texture was seriously wrong and they tasted like freezer or fridge or some combination thereof. I had to spit the bite I took out in my napkin. I went to the restroom worried I was going to be sick. Then went to the counter to pay and leave. I let the woman know that they should not serve those ha gow anymore. She still charged me for them. I will admit I did not tip, as I paid for the ha gow which were inedible. I likely won't be returning as this is my second experience where an item was absolutely inedible... Last time it was something (I can't remember what) that literally tasted like dish soap (not cilantro which I love, actual dish soap.) It's disappointing that a favorite restaurant has become a non-option.

Damn. Very disappointed considering I just moved next door and would've come back often. I walk in alone with 35 minutes till close and ask to eat in. They give me strong push back saying I have to take out. I order duck over steamed rice, pay, and turn around to look at the menu further. Less than 2 minutes later, it's ready. I should've known the duck was going to be cold given how quickly it came out. It was incredibly bone-y and I really had to work to separate the little meat there was. My last bit of hope vanished when I realized there wasn't as much duck as I perceived. Instead, it was all an illusion on top of a bed of soggy lettuce. At least there are dozens of other Chinese restaurants in the area...

This is a review just of the dimsum; I don't know what the rest of the menu is like. My family has been in the dimsum business for generations, and there are standard benchmark dishes that I always order first. Hagow was C grade, OK flavors but skin was mushy and fell apart when I tried to pick it up. Siumai varies widely by region, but this was the only siumai I've ever spat out for tasting off in a bad way. The bean curd roll was OK. I give it a B. Chicken feet was fine, B+. But the cigarette smoke drifting inside through the back door really ruined the meal for us, and we won't be returning because of it. Service was fine, pretty good by Chinese norms.
