OCha Tea Corner — Restaurant in Portland

These were one of the worst drinks I have ever gotten from a boba shop. It is baffling to me how you guys are still operating as a business. As an ex bobarista, I can tell that whoever cooked boba that day undercooked it to (or it expired) where the center is still hard, with a barely translucent outer tapioca layer. Absolutely inedible and had the consistency of rubber. My mom ordered a taro milk tea, and the person that made her drink didn't even shake after adding the ice to the cup, they just stirred it. I suggest you actually use the shaker cup for it's intended purpose. The drink was still warm and not well incorporated still having chunks of the taro powder (either mix before ice or change your expired cold tea). I got a black milk tea and although it tasted fine, my friend that got ocha on another occasion told me that their drink was SPOILED, this is a health hazard and thank god they turned out okay. The only reason I can think as to why her drink was spoiled is if the drink was pre-made, as the simple ingredients used to make boba (boba, tea, non-dairy creamer, sugar / syrup) would never get to a point where it could be spoiled. We will never come back here ever again and will tell our friends to do the same, the dining area is abysmal anyways with no air conditioning and...

Excellent boba and Thai Tea. Boba is very gummy with a bit of a harder center, I appreciated the extra texture. Thai Tea is on the stronger side but still a bit of sweetness. Felt like a good balance though I do like it stronger sometimes.

The specialty foam is definitely something that sets them apart from the other nearby places. Staff is friendly and helpful, it's open late, and they accept phone Pay options.

Incredibly underrated and under appreciated boba shop. Wow. I never usually leave reviews, so this is saying something. I was expecting less, judging by the reviews, but this is the best boba I’ve ever had. I was in and out in at most 2 minutes, the girl at the front was super kind. The atmosphere is incredible, feels cozy kind of like a cafe. The boba was warm and chewy, and the drink itself tasted like the ingredients were fresh.
