The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly and makes you feel right at home. Every seat in the bar is great and caters perfectly to any needs. You’ll be able to see the TV (if this is what you’re looking for) or enjoy an intimate date or conversation (as the audio isn’t too loud). There is an outdoor patio, bar top with hooks for your purse/jackets, plants, comfy chairs, and a cooler for additional drink choices (alcoholic AND nonalcoholic). Honestly, just perfect!

The owner is a true connoisseur and knows all of his products very well - simply describe what you like/gravitate to in terms of taste and he’s got you covered. Located in a lovely neighborhood with great walking nearby, too. You can grab bites from nearby convenience or restaurants and Jerry and Chris will help you find the perfect pairing to go with your meal - all at reasonable prices.

I would give this place zero stars if I could—be aware! The owner is extremely rude and entitled.

Here’s what happened: one Sunday I opened a tab and had two beers. At closing time, I went inside to pay, but the server told me my tab had already been closed. Since I was with friends, I assumed one of them had paid for me—we do that often.

A few days later, I checked my transactions and noticed an extra 20% had been added to my charge. I went back to ask the owner about it, and he told me that when customers “abandon” their tab, he adds a 20% tip automatically. I explained that I never authorized that charge, and his response was, “Everyone in Portland does that.”

That is completely illegal. No business has the right to add a tip without the customer’s authorization. Instead of offering an explanation or resolution, the owner was dismissive and rude, which left me furious. I expected better, but this experience showed me the...

I was so excited to check this place out and I was not disappointed. The location is great and the beer selection is even better. They had some really good, hard to find on tap beer, I was very impressed. The can selection in the coolers was awesome too with lots of variety. They don't serve food, but there are quite a few food options in the area and you are welcome to bring your own in while you have a beer or 2.
