No, No, NO... this place is all wrong! I live in the neighborhood and have been looking forward to giving Heart Pizza a try. I'm sad to say my meal was terribly disappointing. No beer on tap... only cans No wine by the glass... You can get a CAN of wine (about 2 servings or a bottle (Limited selection).
We had an arugula salad and Caesar salad... Both were fair/average. We ordered the Rapini pizza and added sausage. The rapini was extremely bitter. The pizza had minimal (MINIMAL!) cheese - and this is from someone who does not like cheesy pizza. And lastly, the tomato sauce was flavorless... no salt, no basil, no onion, NO FLAVOR! I did like the texture of the crust... At least I can say one positive thing.
Honestly, the best part of the meal was my can of red wine. I hope this tells you something.
There is too much good pizza to be eaten and enjoyed in the town. Don't waste your time or money on this place (Go to Apizzascholls, Lovely's Fifty Fifty, Pizza Jerk or Please Louise).

Read moreI called to ask about a pizza, I stated that I would rather order a pizza that had toppings chosen by chef, rather than each item added manually. I said that I felt like a website was a little confusing. (I have looked at the website again, and it does state what comes with the pie, and that the other items are optional.so I could have done a better job of comprehended better) Person stated that if I was close (I am), it may be better for me to come in. Before I could respond, person started saying something about people expressing concern about how long it takes. Made from scratch etc. I never expressed concern about the time it would take. I tryed to say this, but she cut me of saying 'would you F-ing let me finish my sentence' I admit I was a little agitated about the website, but I did not raise my voice, nor did I use foul language. Perhaps this person was part of ownership, and does not fear consequences for tossing the 'F word' to customers. Nice welcome to the...
Read morePretty good overall experience. The atmosphere was cute and the option of indoor or outdoor seating was nice. The menu was a bit small but all of their pizza's were pretty complex. The staff was a little disappointing the guy walked away from me after paying without saying anything and another girl walked up and asked if I paid already. A little awkward. The pizza itself was pretty good, a very thin crust which I like. The toppings were a little skimping but fit the style of pizza well. Pricing was reasonable and I split a pizza with my bf and we were both satisfied but...
