Merrow — Restaurant in Portland

Hey, the Merrow team seems to have lost their reviews (5 stars) when their pop-up moved locations, so I am re-upping mine! This small enterprise has such fun, creative and delicious food. Kind of a local take on Tapas, is the closest comparison that comes to mind. True to the name, there is a distinct seafood through-line complimented by beautiful salads and other veggie dishes showcasing our local bounty. Chefs say that the menu will change with seasons and availability of ingredients so I look forward to repeat visits for favorites (Cured Fresh Sardine with butter on Cafe Olli Bread) and to discover new favorites! Merrow is a cute little spot popping up in the cafe Olli space for dinner during days they are closed! The staff is warm and friendly and really make you feel at home. The food is very thoughtful and delicious. Just like cafe Olli they use locally sourced produce and seafood and even use products from cafe Olli’s secret garden! I had a lovely experience dining at Merrow, a sweet new pop up residency at Cafe Olli. The staff was warm and welcoming, the decor added was super cozy, and the food was impeccable.
