Food is always delicious, quick and the cooks and staff workers are always friendly except for one middle aged woman. The same lady with the same nasty attitude is always in when i come and she seems to always get me in a fowl mood with her tone of voice, lack of professionalism, bad attitude and general lack of concern for the customer. She makes the place look bad and makes me not want to give my money to her. Oh and this time her attitude started after she ASKED me if i would tip…(because you pay over counter) If i was the owner i’d think twice about having her be the face of the show. I’d be upset as an owner. 1 star for ā€œcustomer service?ā€ and 5 for yummy food!! :) this is my first review or second so i’m not a karen..this lady is just rude everytime i come in lol. Oh and sauce isn’t free if you buy food either just fyi

All of the cooks are illegal, "undocumented" workers that don't have food handlers cards, and certainly don't follow health code laws - They don't wash their hands ever; not after dumping garbage, having cigarette breaks, or after using the toilet and leaving the bathroom a disgusting mess. The cooks often intentionally make an order wrong out of spite towards certain workers, or customers. If you are a female worker, the cooks will probably make you very uncomfortable with their behavior, and unwanted advances. The people that run this location also run the Newberg location, and everything is the same there. The kitchen staff is totally incompetent to say the least. Below are pictures of how they thaw ground beef above open rice bins that are used in plates, and Horchata mix.

When I lived in Oregon City, my favorite drive thru was Rigoberto's. I thought their Carnitas Burrito was the best in the world, because it's all delicious meat (no stupid rice and beans) and I never thought I'd find another like it. Little did I realize that Rigoberto's *used* to be a Muchas Gracias, and that there are a bunch of other Muchas Gracias-es around, and they all make delicious Carnitas burritos pretty much the same way! All meat (plus a little salsa and guac) in a delicious flour tortilla. Add some of the Salsa Verde (or the red sauce if you're feeling more spicy) and you have, hands down, the food of the Gods. Discovering that there was a Muchas Gracias within a mile of my new home has really improved my life (but probably will not improve my waistline) 🄰

me and my boyfriend came through the drive though and the lady on the mic taking our order was so mean for nooo reason lmaooo. we didn’t mention it or anything either to her, she was just so awkwardly hostile, we were looking at the menu for like five minutes deciding what to order , and i get that may be long to some people but it’s because we have never eaten here before or seen the menu, and this lady just will not stop asking us if we are ready yet and ive worked in customer service it’s not uncommon for people to gaze the menu first. could tell she was impatient. so i start rushing him because i hate being a bother, he’s ordering and she just keeps saying she can’t hear him at first so i start talking louder and she still said she could barely hear me. but then this lady just gets outright mean. she’s saying stuff like ā€œare you done yet??ā€ then he says he’s gonna get a drink she asks what drink and he says ā€œdo you guys have lemonadeā€ she goes ā€œyesā€ and he’s like ā€œoh what kind of lemonade do you guys-ā€œshe just cuts him off ā€œALRIGGGGHT A LEMONADE. is that all?!ā€ dude😭😭 like i get it you might be trying to clock out or whatever but if you hate customer service that much you need to find a new field of work. and then when we drive to the window, there is a car at the window that was already there since we pulled up. if you’re gonna be that impatient taking an order you’d think your customers wouldn’t be sitting there waiting for that long in a drive through just waiting for their food? we sat there for like ten minutes behind this car then we just backed out because clearly this customer was not getting their food any time soon. 0/10 experience for us our first time, but hey maybe it’ll be better for you that’s...

2.5 STARS FOR DAY STAFF āļø 5 STARS FOR EVENING STAFF If I got the same kind of service that I get in the evening during the day, I would probably have all my meals at Muchas Gracias.

I know the gal in the drive-through during the day gets mad at me because I don’t leave her a tip. I just automatically hit ā€œaccept amountā€ And I hit that but knowing that I’m probably not going to get what I ordered. I decline to tip because I know that there’s a good chance that I’m gonna get only one salsa For four tacos or I’m gonna get all green salsa even though I asked for only red. Or they’re going to forget my drink and then when I drive back and get my drink, they’re going to forget my straw. I know they don’t like it when I don’t tip but I don’t like it when I don’t get what I paid for. Why would I tip them for that? Spare me the attitude! One might say that there’s a communication problem with the speaker system or something … there’s not. The girl during the daytime starts take my order and isn’t even listening to what I order. Had to repeat myself three times and then still the order is wrong. In the evening there is not that issue. The communication is clear. The person makes sure that I get the salsas I need, in order to enjoy my food so that I’ll keep coming back; and when I get that kind of service, I do keep coming back. But the service that I get from the day person, nah. I’m not tipping. And I can keep getting all the dirty looks and all the attitude that you want to serve me, but until you start doing the bare minimum of putting in the bag what I have paid for, I’m not going to pay extra I’m not going to give a tip for a job...

This is the only Muchas Gracias location I’ve gone to since moving here from Texas in 2021. I go 16 miles out of my way to make a special round trip to this location, so it’s really disappointing to leave this kind of review.

I was excited to try menudo, a dish I haven’t had in years since I was living in Texas and was so happy to see pictured on the drive-thru menu. Not a lot of Mexican restaurants here sell menudo. There was no mention that it was only available on certain days—just the picture and the price. After repeating myself several times just to be understood, I was finally told it’s only available Friday through Sunday. When I asked for more clarification (was it only the past weekend for cinco de mayo) I was completely ignored.

When I pulled up to the window, the first thing the Caucasian lady with red hair said to me was, ā€œWhat did you want?ā€ā€”no greeting, no explanation, no apology. I ordered three rolled tacos because I was hungry and had already driven out of my way, but the service left me feeling dismissed and unwelcome. It really showed a lack of standard and respect in basic customer service and I work in the service industry myself. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won’t be returning to this location again. It’s incredibly frustrating to be treated with such disregard after years of being a loyal customer and going out of my way just to eat here. If anybody knows of other Mexican restaurants that make good menudo please...
