I've definitely wanted to try this place out after seeing how well the reviews were. It's a great madre and padre shop with a bunch of authentic cultural flare. There were a ton of people in line to order some freshly made baked goods. I didn't get a chance to try it this time but maybe the next! We were definitely here for the tacos. My bf and I each got some Carne Asada and Pastor. And it was definitely way bigger than I expected. You get your moneys worth for $1.99. The Asada was a bit tougher and chewier than I would have liked. They give you a lot of salsa options to flavor the tacos a bit more too. But there was any water available anywhere but they do have coke! So that's a plus when you're digging in. The Pastor was probably both of our favorites. Since I ordered way too much I just enjoyed two of the Pastor and only the first Asada I had and had to throw the other one away. All in all this place also has a lot of different spices, items for cooking, and a lot of Mexican favorites for candies and such. It made me feel happy to see a bit of diversity just south of Sellwood. I can see why it's a neighborhood favorite! I'd love to give this place another shot next time my Bf is...
Read moreAwesome place has amazing workers and really really really good food. It is a little place but this is a place you don't want to pass up. Their food is bomb, I wish we still lived close to there. But we're now in Vancouver any chance we get when we end up over there we always get food from there. LIKE on May 16th we got a cake for our 6 year old baby girl!! It was so beautiful and I only had to call the day before and they had it ready the next morning no I'm not promising this to everybody because I'm not sure about those circumstances but I'm pretty sure that's how they work they're very committed to their customers! the workers are so nice especially cuco and his wife even there older kids help out around the store. I love this little place and I always will. they work really hard to keep everything fresh and everything...
Read moreThis is a pretty decent authentic Mexican food place with extremely quick service and very nice employees. It's very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. I am a "Carne asada" burrito kinda guy, and never change my order from any Mexican food place unless it's an ultimate nacho. This place has about the lowest quality steak I've ever had from a Mexican food restaurant. It's full of gristle, over cooked, over salted, and easily grade d meat (if not worse). They also charge a 50c transaction fee if you use your card vs using cash which I think is illegal (except for...
