I used to visit this store every single day as a kid. The selection was always great and the quality of their products was always high. I left for a couple years and came back, now a different family owns the store and it’s gone completely downhill. Their products are all gross like they kept the same stock from the previous owners without quality checking anything to save money. I got a soggy, chewy and freezer burned drumstick ice cream cone the other day and today my daughter got an ant infested tootsie pop. When I brought it back to show the guy working what it looked like he didn’t even act like he cared. Didn’t check the box I told him it came from, didn’t give me an apology, nothing. Do not trust the merchandise behind the counter. Bought a torch because I'm a nerd and it had Rick from Rick&Morty. Went home to take some dabs and the thing didn't work. Went back the very next day to the same worker who called owner. They said they can't do anything cause it wasn't tested there. Really? 2nd torch in less than 5 days that didnt work cause the first one I bought had the button break off so I figured I would spend more, didn't even ask for a return for that one. This store has lost my business. This was a nice neighborhood bodega and the new owners brought in some good improvements but along with that came new staff that are terrible.
