In short: The pho broth was well balanced and really hit the spot. Meat was also tender and fresh, the brisket was not too tough or chewy, and I left satisfied. Expanded review: I am a local Vietnamese and love trying and supporting new Vietnamese businesses. Saw this new spot as I was visiting a friend nearby in Irvington and went in for a solo lunch around 12:30. It wasn’t busy at all, two other tables when I arrived. Please support this new restaurant! I was quickly greeted and seated by the window. Got my usual Beef Pho with rare beef, brisket, and meat balls $17.50. I mentioned above the meat was good, the rare beef wasn’t rare or prob cooked quickly in the broth when poured. It was very satisfying broth. I don’t add hoisin sauce and sriracha so I can really taste how good it is and good pho broth does not need those condiments. I like the vibe and the server was very nice! Would definitely come back and it’s better than other pho restaurants...
Read moreFinally a Pho place near my home!!
My mother and I came in on heavy rainy day wanting some pho and to see what other great food they had.
We sat ourselves and waited a bit before the server came and welcomed us. He apologized and mentioned they had just finished the lunch rush.
He was very nice and welcoming and authentic, which I just think is great.
We order some spring rolls, and pot stickers to start, and they we follow it up with a chicken pho and Yakisoba Combo.
I loved the pot stickers and the sauce that it came with. They were crispy and warm. The sweet and spicy sauce amplified the taste.
Chicken Pho broth was nice tasty with a good balance of seasoning. Once I added the fixins and it just made it so much better.
The Yakisoba tasted great according to my mother, which this is her go to dish when she goes to Vietnamese places back home in Denver.
Overall great good and great customer service. I will be back to try out...
Read moreOrdered the Raw Beef, Brisket and Tendon… the beef wasn’t raw, the Tendon was none existent lots and lots of Brisket. Meet was good quality. When I asked about the lack of Tendon the server said people don’t normally want tendon, but I think he meant I didn’t look like I really wanted tendon. I really did. Broth was okay but def not bone deep more light like a chicken broth then I prefer. Good kind folks but expectations of receiving what I ordered kinda ruined it for me. Only saying if your like me and you specifically go to eat pho for tendon and red/pink raw beef you cook in the soup this...
