After walking into the Coffee shop at 2 pm for a cup, waiting a few minutes patiently while the counter person flirted with the customer ordering her drink, I asked for a sugar-free Mocha. Told that they didn't carry bitter cocoa, ordered a semi-sweet Mocha. I also said I would like the piece of Quiche that was in the case and said that because of the time of the afternoon and it probably had been around all day, would he give it to me for 1/2 price? The "barista" behind the counter operating the espresso machines said 'No'. While waiting for my Mocha the girl, also working behind the counter took the quiche out of the case and I said, 'Did someone else buy it?' She said, 'No, we always just throw them away by this time of day'. She said I could have it for free. I asked if they could heat it up. She said,"we don't have an oven or microwave." When I was done and went to pay the cashier, who " didn't remember " if I had paid or not when he gave me my coffee drink tried to charge me for the quiche. BARISTA is a pretty fancy Italian name for a coffee slinger. And if I had the time or any friendly interaction I guess I could have told them the place I worked at in the '60s in San Francisco called 'Coffee Cantata' where I was the Barista and had Crosby, Stills and Naish as my customers in between sets and the place I go to in Boulder called the Ozo where they roast their own branded blends of World sourced coffee beans and have espresso tasting days and are polite, accommodating and sincere and I know their customers range from 4 years old to 84. I see this as a very good way to influence people into leaving this place alone. There are plenty of places I can go without age discrimination, incompetent, lackadaisical, never may care 'whatever',...

The one guy that works early that I think has a pony tail is super nice but the reason I only gave two stars is mostly because of another person that works there. The blonde mustache guy was extremely rude to me one day. This person asked me a question about something involving an interest of mine so I responded thinking we were about to relate and have a good conversation. But they actually spent the next couple of minutes insulting me and what I'm into and he was not joking. It was clear he had formed a strong opinion based off of limited understanding and used that option to justify judging others. Now I think most people to some degree are guilty of that but for this person not have the self awareness or respect not to filter themselves at a place of business and instead to insult a costumer is crazy. If you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all. Besides that, I get they're probably going for a theme but the walls are covered with the body parts of dead animals. Pretty freaking gross and weird
Otherwise, it's alright but there's about 10 other coffee shops within 5 minutes that...

The drip coffee is really good and prices are normal for this area (8 oz., 12 oz., 16 oz.; $2.75, 3.25, $3.75). Refills for 12 oz. are $1.50. They had a rotation of three espressos you could choose from, but are pricey at $3.75. Lattes start at $4.50. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. Music was at a normal level at the time (in the afternoon) - it was just ambient lobby music. Decorations on the wall are mostly taxidermy animals and animal heads. Overall, I think it's an average coffee shop - good...
