At first I thought I might have been overthinking it but after leaving and going home I was not happy with my overall experience. Me and my mom had arrived at 10am were sat down asked for drinks by our server and everything was fine. She said she’d give us a few minutes to look over the menu. Eventually someone different came to take our drink order but we had already gotten them .We just proceeded to order our food. Between 15-20 minutes after we had ordered a few people around us were seated after we ordered. We’re waiting for our food 30 minutes pass, not too bad, I assume they are just busy and no worries. By this time it was about 10:40. Our server comes by to reassure us our food was coming. By 10:55 my mom had to leave, that’s fine I’d just pack her food up when it came and pay when I’m done. At this same time the single person who was seated after we ordered had received their food, I figured it’s fine they were only one person and we are two. The table to our side also with two people were seated and had their orders take after us were served their food. I found that weird and didn’t say much. 25 minutes after my server assured me the food was coming my food had arrived. She had come by earlier to bring my bread to make it appear as if our food was coming soon. At the same time I got my food the other table with two people also got their food. Initially I didn’t think much but as everyone got their food I began to wonder if our ticket was not put in and was rushed. If that had been the case I wish my server would have been honest and told us so we could just have gone somewhere else. I sat there an extra 25 minutes wondering where our food was by myself at this point and feeling a bit dumb. She did not charge for our plain hot coffee and brought a pastry but that’s not how I would have liked this situation handled. I wish she would have asked us or told us the situation truthfully as I find it hard to not think our order “got lost”. She was nice and friendly about it but for the price of our meal I was not happy with this outcome. We had gone back later which I felt I couldn’t speak up earlier because the restaurant was so busy. The manager was not a helpful either in this situation. He said he wish he could have fixed it in the moment, I understand wanting to fix it in the moment but as someone who feels uncomfortable with things in the moment I found it off putting that he was only willing to offer a...

I was excited to have breakfast here because I hadn't been here in a long while. Great food, great coffee, delicious pastries, and a cozy atmosphere. The wait staff were attentive with coffee refills and water, but our primary waitress went MIA once she delivered our coffees and took our order.

Things were busy, and it took her a while to come back to take our order, and then she didn't come around to check on us, except when I waved her down, as I had dropped my napkin and needed a clean one.

I received the wrong Benedict. It was supposed to be the salmon, but I received the ham. I couldn't get her attention or even see her to let her know, so I ate what I had received. My friend mentioned that maybe they had a newer cook as her hash was a little greesy. It's still good, but not as good as in the past times she has had it.

Our waitress didn't bring the check, so we went up to the counter. The friendly cashier inquired with her about our bill. She seemed perturbed and pulled us aside to remedy the issue since we wanted separate checks, and we had selected a few pastries.

She couldn't recall where we were sitting or recall who we were. It was obvious that she had forgotten about us. I then let her know that I had received the wrong Benedict so that I didn't get charged for the wrong one. She apologized, then told me they were the same price, which I recall they weren't. To prove it, I added a snap shot of the menu below.

She then asked me if I had ever had the salmon benedict, and I replied that I had. I was a little taken back that she would question if I knew the difference between ham and salmon. My friend vouched that I wasn't mistaken. I felt insulted. Did she think I was being dishonest? If I were dishonest, I could have left without paying, and no one would have even noticed.

Unfortunately, I left irritated due to the unattentive, dishonest, and insulting waitress. I would expect a higher standard of customer service here.

No response from management, I assume they dont really care. I...

My dear friend and I make our way to Petite Provence on Tuesdays, or as often as we can during some weeks. Every single time we go, we receive warm five star customer service from hard working employees that help run this establishment. Each and every one of them carry a inviting personality that they all exercise in their own unique way, giving you that dynamic experience you hope to receive from a “French Restaurant.”

Whenever we come, we always feel that our business is wanted, and we deeply appreciate the love and care shown to us. My friend unfortunately has terrible back pain, and can’t go just anywhere, especially with her low tolerance to mold. So trying to find a place where she can feel at ease and not suffocate, is my top priority, but isn’t always easy. I’ll also be transparent in the fact that we are also picky eaters. Petite Provence not only is cleanly and mold free, but even the seats are comfortable enough for her to relax in.

We especially love Tommy, who is a wonderful waiter and treats us like gold. He is always on the ball so to say, and checks up on our well being( if we needed more coffee, etc.). Today we sat in a difference area, which in this place, I refuse to believe there is a bad seat in the house. As a result, we received care from another waitress named Ashley. She was very pleasant, and genuinely kind to my dear friend and I. We really enjoyed her company as a person, not just a valued employee. The people we meet here make the food taste even better than it already did.

The food is always DELICIOUS! As I had previously stated, we have yet to have a bad experience, and for this repeated warm kind treatment and generosity, we are deeply grateful! Thank you so much to the two wonderful people that work here, Tommy...
