Edited (after many nights spent there): They over serve people alcohol to extreme limits, I've seen multiple people pass out and even fall to the ground drinking there. One night there was a hispanic man who got so drunk he fell backwards off a picnic table outside and bashed his skull on the ground. When he hit the ground I felt the bench I was on vibrate, nobody helped him or anything til I went and got the bartender. Who was pissed to even deal with it, he fell over again onto the floor and hit his skull AGAIN. They called him a cab, when they probably should have called an ambulance. Hope that guy was okay because that would have been in INSANE double concussion.
There was many other nights were people were insanely intoxicated and still being served, like 15-20 shots deep and the bartenders were happy to give the more (even encouraging it).
Other nights there was some guy creeping on girls in the bar and the only reason this one drunk chick didn't get taken advantage of was a nice couple who escorted her out of the bar without finishing their drinks, they walked her home (after seeing his behavior and insane demeanor).
If you're a local alcoholic service worker, this is probably your favorite spot. If you want to relax, good luck. Homeless people also like to sneak in the back gate and beg/eat food off unbussed tables lol. Can't even count how many drug deals I saw.
Drink at home, it's cheaper and safer.
Old Review: Nice neighborhood bar, a little loud sometimes and it's hard to tell when it'll be busy but always a nice spot to hang....
Read moreMy friends and I came here to grab a quick drink while we waited for the restaurant down the street to open for dinner. We took a seat at the bar and patiently waited for the bartender to acknowledge our presence. When he finally did, we ordered our drinks and an extra for one in our party who had to run back to the car to grab something. We were enjoying our drinks at the bar counter; a couple of us seated and another standing just behind and between us. A older woman emerged from the back and said to our standing friend ‘put on your mask.’ In a direct, rude, loud and frankly terrible tone. No please, no thank you. Our friend replied, ‘I’m having a drink, can’t really do that with a mask.’ The elder woman replied ‘then take a seat. You can either take a seat, wear a mask, or leave.’ We chose the later option. Don’t waste your time at this place.
IN RESPONSE TO THE ESTABLISHMENT: We were not at a table, we were at the bar where we would’ve gone to order anyway. About this ‘elderly woman’, she walked out of the back and then walked behind the bar counter and was speaking to your bar tender. I don’t know whether she was an employee or not, but it’s seems rather odd that someone NOT employed by you would have the audacity to speak with us in such a manner and then walk behind the bar and speak to...
Read moreGotta say, we were kind of jerks last night. My bartender and and at a close by establishment (which closes at 12) and we decided to stop here and grab some pizza. We knew we were risking a possible "no, kitchens closed" when we rolled up, but we're also fine just grabbing a drink and heading home to make ramen if not. But thankfully the cook was the one to receive us, and he welcomed us with open arms. We asked if they were still serving and he said "well I am until you finish you're order!" This man deserves a raise, whoever was working tonight 8/11/2024 both th3 kitchen and the bartender deserve more, they gave us so much attention and respect, we will definitely be stopping by more(and not to order food right before the kitchen closes, that was a one time thing, and Thank you again!) Much love to these folks for making a nice neighborhood bar accessible...
