Shipyard Brew Pub — Restaurant in Portland

I really need to vent about the horrible service at this Portland Maine Airport Restaurant called Shipyard Brew ! Our Frontier Flight is delayed by possibly 4 hours or more so we went into Shipyard Brew to eat and get some drinks. My husband and I were sitting at a table for about 15 minutes trying to get the ordering app to work that was on our table, after about 15 min my husband took a card from another table and it worked, the place was practically empty mind you! A waitress walked up to our table when we first sat down, looked at us and walked away so I figured she was not our waitress! She came back about 20 min later after my husband placed an order and said, OK, let me activate your app at your table and we said, no worries, we grabbed the card off the table behind us! This waitress, whose name is Rebecca, freaked out and started berating my husband for using the wrong app, she kept going on about how we had completely messed things up and why did we do that, we shouldn’t have done that and my husband and I said, then maybe you guys should attach the cards to each table as we had no idea! This Rebecca kept going on saying, if you go to someone’s house would you do something like this, just mess things up etc etc! It was literally unbelievable this Rebecca, we were getting more embarrassed and so upset and angry at her I told my husband, c’mon honey, I’ve actually lost my appetite and I won’t eat here! We got up to leave and as we left, I told her, you are a very rude person, she (Rebecca) then said, well , talk to my manager, I’ve been here since 10a, it was 7p) so I told her OK , that’s a great idea! I was told the manager Antonio was not in! We’ll, Antonio, I hope you get to read this! We are from Orlando , Our first trip to Maine, customer service is a VERY high priority in Orlando, we left with such a bad, sad and yes angry feeling! I’m not sure I’ve ever met anyone as rude as this Rebecca woman! She should not be allowed to deal with people until she’s had her happy pills! 😳 extremely BAD experience! I’d give this particular restaurant 0 stars if I could, that’s how nasty this waitress was!...

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! Passed this place in the airport on the way to my gate and thought, ooh one more lobster roll before I leave! I saw positive reviews online but since I needed to get to my gate I ordered a roll to go. First, they didn't seem happy that I wanted a to go order. On top of that they had me paying near the drink station and one waiter pushed right past me then another splashed water on me. Seriously. They didn't have prices on the menu but I really wanted one last lobster roll so I ordered it anyway. He handed me the check, $28 and I thought wow this better be a good roll, and I tipped $2 just because. Well, the roll was small, they put a dollop of mayo on top of the lobster instead of on the bread (yuck), and the shredded lettuce underneath tasted like olds prepackaged shreds... the sour taste totally ruined my $30 roll. Unfortunately I was at my gate and didn't have time to go back and complain or ask for a refund so I picked the lobster pieces off and ate them. The only positive thing I can say is that the fries were decent. Biggest waste...

Worst service ever!!! My 2 friends and I had 1.5 hour before boarding and decided to stop for a drink. We waited over 30 minutes outside when the big guy with the beard /bartender, chose 2 parties behind us to seat. The older woman server with the glasses and reddish hair scolded us when we first got there for going in to see if there was a seat at the bar so we were already "branded". Once tables opened up (about 20 minutes after the 2 parties were taken ahead of us, the older server woman taking her time to seat us, joked with the beard man/ bartender about making us wait. Once seated, we waited another 15 minutes to get 3 simple drinks. We got our drinks 5 minutes before we had to board. Paid the bill leaving glasses half full!!! Poor service, no tip!!! When serving the public you should never make fun if your customers where they can see...
