This is a unique little place and overall enjoyed my experience. We were told it would be about a 40 minute wait for a table for 4. It didn’t feel like 40 minutes but I wasn’t paying attention to the time so I’m not sure how long it actually was. Seated at a booth plenty big for 4.
The griddle itself could’ve been a little bigger. If you wanted to make a big pancake maybe only 2 people could do it at a time. One of our party was particularly messy so about half the griddle ended up unusable toward the end of the meal.
We tried the seasonal (gingerbread), chocolate, and regular batters. All were ok but nothing special in my opinion. The toppings came in tiny little containers and were overpriced for how much you actually get. $4 for maybe 2 sliced up strawberries feels like a rip off.
We also tried the loaded potatoes and those were DELICIOUS, especially with some of the green Tabasco added on top. I ordered the earl gray infused vodka drink and that was incredible as well. Huge fan of that beverage!
The table on one side of us had some issues with their griddle and their pancake batter sat poured out on the griddle for a good 10-15 minutes before it was fixed. The table on the other side of us ordered the bacon pancake topping (crumbles) and had to ask 3 separate times to get that delivered to their table. They received the pancake slices (side) instead - and there was also a candied bacon side on the menu. I feel that could’ve been avoided if the staff had just clarified what the customers asked for. Perhaps they’re understaffed and rushed but that doesn’t seem like an excuse to need numerous requests for one item and still deliver the wrong item.
Overall it’s a cute concept idea and I had a fun time, and I’d probably even recommend giving it a try, but I think there’s a few things that could be improved: pancake batters are weak flavors, if they tasted a little more strongly of their respective flavors it would be better prices should be lower for effectively cooking your own meals griddles should be a little larger, or perhaps two per table for the bigger tables? employees should clarify better what you’re ordering OR the menu shouldn’t have quite as many variations of...

We came here with family as we were visiting from out of town and I had high hopes, as our family raved about how fun and cute this place is. I'd be willing to go as far as a 4/5 star review if our service wasn't the WORST service I've ever received. Literally EVER. Being someone who works in the service industry, the "service" we received (if you can even call it that) was unacceptable. Our waitress (I did get her name, but don't feel it's fair to blast that on google) was rude, not friendly whatsoever, never smiled, never said thank you/you're welcome, she acted as if taking our order was an inconvenience to her, huffed and puffed when we asked for something, never asked if we wanted refills, how the food was, etc. When we sat down and ordered our coffee as we waited for the rest of our party to arrive, we didn't get our drinks until 15 minutes later. I had asked for extra napkins and straws, never received them - after waiting and waiting, I finally went to the bar to ask for them. Before I had a chance to ask for another lemonade for my daughter (aware they are not refills and would be charged for the drink) she practically threw our check on the table and walked away without saying one word. I then went to follow her to the bar to ask for another lemonade. She just said "They are not refills." I told her I know, I'll pay for it but my daughter is thirsty and loved it, plus we are out of water at our table. She then brought the drink back with a new check and while reading it, the 20% gratuity was already added because we were a large party (4 adults + 3 kids + 1 baby not eating). At that point, I was livid because I thought, well no wonder she treated us like garbage and never "served' us - she was already getting her 20%!!! This place has a lot of potential and it would have been a great morning if our server could maybe pretend to like her job a little bit, but she really killed the mood and I left very unhappy after spending almost $200 on breakfast. Large party or not, she didn't deserve the automatic $40 tip she...
Read moreSo good and fun! Definitely a restaurant I'm going to miss once I become fully raw. I always got the buttermilk pancakes w/white chocolate chips & bananas as a side..and it was delicious! The only down part is how long you have to wait. I've sat for an hour before waiting to get seated..but that's only because everyone loves this place and it's been packed every time I've gone there! I've had great memories at this place.. The first time I went there with my best friend, I was eating and somehow my seat began sliding from underneath of me..I felt it slipping but it was happened so quick, and I couldn't really do anything about it..as the person next to me was asking if I was alright, I look up at my best friend across from me and she's just cracking up, and as I'm looking at her, she begins to start sinking down, and she did the exact same thing in her chair that I just did. It was too funny. The waiter even came up and asked if we were alright. It was really loud too, but it was definitely a good moment to look back on. Also one time when I went there with her, she had just got over the stomach flu but she felt better and was fine (so she thought), so we decided to go eat there. After she ate, she felt like she was about to puke and ran to the bathroom but it was full!..so she came back and was covering her mouth, and I handed her an empty cup but she proceeded to puke in the cup that was full of water next to it and then on to her plate..it's something we crack up at now, Hahahaha. I tipped the...
