Wow. I put a not so positive review for this Starbucks location on Google the other day and I was going back today to edit it and add another star ( up from my first 2 star original review) and today I see that my original review has been removed off of Google (SHAME!) along with the photo proof of my drink so that people would know it was a legit review. WOW so now they are actually manipulating and removing actual reviews:
Here’s the summary. I got a coffee that was undrinkable -totally bad & yucky. This has happened now like 3-4 times usually around the same time of day (4pm or so) from this same location. I wrote in my original review that the coffee was so bad it’s almost like someone there has to be doing it on purpose- it’s that bad- which is really strange because I have gotten excellent coffee from this location ( and many other Starbucks ) before. All I’m ordering is a large Pikes Place with 6 cream and 1 sugar and like clock work around 4pm through their drive through I get a terrible version that is just plain bad- undrinkable. And now I see they delete negative reviews. Wow. I was going to go back and edit the original post with how happy I was with the workers there when I went back in and asked for a replacement after I wrote my original review. I tried to force myself to drink the coffee and just couldn’t make myself do it- it was that GROSS- and I’ve eaten and drunk a lot of bad stuff in my life… (Just sayn’). The guy working was very nice and offered to remake it for me- he seemed really genuine and I appreciated his kind words and making me a replacement drink - a hot coca with cream ( not a pikes place as I was too grossed out to even consider tempting fate - it was truly that hideous) asap that was awesome.
The truth: The first coffee was still terrible - and whoever deleted the original review off of Google reviews should be ashamed of themselves. Moral of the story- maybe skip this place after 3pm or so? Although I do appreciate the service once I was forced to go back and return the undrinkable drip coffee-! Yuck! Read moreIt’s Starbucks locations like this one that make me consider doing absurdly crazy things like looking for nearby alternatives for some coffee even if it’s coffee I don’t necessarily enjoy or just saying, “Screw it. I don’t need coffee today.”
This is what happens when you have all the time in the world to think. And you will at this location, because the wait will almost always be excruciatingly Long, especially if you’re using the drive-thru.
I’ve been to several other Starbucks locations around the country that are much, much busier than this one, and I’ve never waited too long. My friend stated more then 3 times that she was trying to read the menu to decide what she wanted. The order taker was rude and very unpleasant.
