Went to this place for the very firs time. I've heard about it for a long time but was never in the area. I ordered the steak Philadelphia. It was really good, as a matter of fact, it was delicious. The sandwich was made in a timely manner and it was steaming hot, so that was a plus. I paid 12 bucks for a 12" sub. So one dollar per inch. Soda was $2.50 so also on the expensive side. Overall, I would recommend this place. Would I come here back? Yes, just not as often as I would have liked. I have been here several times already and the cashier is probably one of the rudest staff there. I don't know if she owns the place; but. the way she treats her customer is definitely a negative stars. The staff in the kitchen and more polite. I now only come here for the tasty food. But don't expect to receive a good customers service here. The fact that I've witnessed her yelling at a customer that she was right and they weren't showed me a lot about her. Parking 4/5 mostly street and some in the back Prices 3/5 on the expensive side Customer Service 0/5 VERY BAD Bathrooms 4/5 could be cleaner Overall 2/5

Steakadelphia on Powell generously offers Portland a great example of the genuine Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. It’s almost impossible to choose which of their signature sandwiches to order, but between any of the four - Steakadelphia Supreme, Rough Rider, Caveman, and World Wide - you can’t go wrong. The jalapeños on the Steakadelphia Supreme, for example, makes each bite a little spicy, while the honey mustard sauce on the Caveman makes it sweet. The most dominant taste of any sandwich is the steak or chicken and the gooey white American cheese melted over it. Be sure to have a napkin in your lap because some of that filling will most definitely fall out the side. A cup of crispy fries is encouraged for scooping up those loose Philly bits. Note that purists can get the standard Philly Cheesesteak with just meat, cheese, onions, and sauce, but we think the specials are worth the investment.

One of the better Philly cheesesteak joints in the territory. A few of the cheesesteak snobs I know hold Steakadelphia in high regard. I ordered a one with pepper jack cheese, black olives and jalapenos. All the cheesesteaks come with onion. The end result is super tasty. It has a lot of flavor and I don't think it's just due to the jalapenos. The sauce was just a little bit of mayonnaise. The sandwich is not huge. I ate the whole thing for lunch. It's a good size for that. The sandwich and my soda came to just under $20 before tip. There's not much room inside but the weather was great so we sat outside. The street parking is a bit challenging. Check out my profile for more great eateries and craft cocktail bars. -VanPort Insider✌🏼

I am a new DoorDash or with less than five business days that is. This is my first trip to Southeast Portland for delivery as I normally do happy Valley. I needed to use the restroom when I arrived and asked for the door code. I exclaimed that I was picking up an order for Margaret because I was not wearing my glasses because I was about to pee my pants and was only focused on that Finally, the lady working the counter told me she didn’t have an order for Margaret and she looked at my DoorDash and realized it was for Margot. She basically tossed the order across the counter to me and then handed me an empty cup, asking me to fill it. I explained that I wanted to follow protocol and her and her cooks chimed in that I should be carrying a bag. No, I was given the greenlight to go ahead and deliver orders and I have a hotbox that plugs into my 12 V AC adapter in my car. The lady proclaimed that I was annoying and went to fill the cup up herself and only filling it up halfway. I was treated unbelievably poorly and it’s absolutely disgusting Customer Service, especially for them, not knowing the situation with me being new and only trying to do things right. I asked them to seal the bag also and they refused. I’m sure the food is great as it looked busy and smelt delicious but I will definitely not be a customer. It’s a shame that I was treated as I was. The gal working the counter clearly thought it was OK to tell me that I’m annoying why because I’m just dash driver and not a customer....

NOT IMPRESSED. First: We chose this place for lunch, we had an hour, arrived at 11:10am finally got our sandwiches at 11:55am and had to rush back to work, arriving 5 minutes late and still hadn't been able to eat yet. When we arrived, there were 3 people a head of us and apparently 3 phone orders. In other words not terribly busy.

Second: we paid $22.50 for 2 of the worst cheese steak sandwiches I have ever eaten. I have actually gotten a much better cheese steak, for a more reasonable price at Jersey Mike's and that is saying a lot, since I don't care for them all that much either. The meat was very over seasoned, burnt and I never found the cheese or mushrooms. What was on this 8 inch small, could have fit on a 4 inch and left me feeling swindled and paying double. It literally brought back memories of the old gals at Wendy's saying, "WHERE'S THE BEEF!" commercials.

I have worked in cheese steak stands/restaurants, I know what goes into making a good cheese steak sandwich. I have been wanting to try this one, because of the good reviews, but once we finally got the chance we got robbed and served a piss-poor product. They are not quick, over priced and never worth my business or hard earned...
