Dont ask bartender to follow the posted rules you will get kicked out. I came in to play video poker and noticed a game i would like to play was on hold. The sign bar made says 10 min limit will be enforced. I looked at my watch and after 10 min i asked bartender if the people were still playing. He said he would ask and messed around doing stuff for a bit. I silently stood by and waited. He went up to a woman at the bar and she said she was playing it and continued to sit at the bar. I said there's a 10 min limit so... the big bald black lady came up to me with an attitude tell me to check myself. I meerly pointed out that the bar set the rules and i had done nothing wrong. She talked more smack as i left and bartender told me to just keep walking. So if you like dive bars with bartenders that let people do whatever you want this is the place to be!...

Love love love taco Tuesday. Absolutly love those tacos. They're just like the ones u make at home and only a buck with no limit as far as I've seen. The place is packed on taco Tuesday but it's worth it. The barmaid is the only one working the bar and I think because of the added patrons it might be nice to get her another assistant on taco Tuesday because she is slammed. However that being said she is a great bartender and leaves no one out. She hussles her fanny around not making anyone of us have to wait to long for our tacos and drinks. However on nights other then Tuesdays my favorite dish bar none is the Ruben sandwich with tots and fry dip. This is a long time favorite of mine and many I'm sure. Home-cooked corned beef brisket stewed all day and fall apart tender. This is the best RUBEN SANDWICH IVE EVER HAD! WITHOUT ANY DOUBT...

Wonderful people both the locals and the staff. All are great, but a special shout out to Roman who dealt with a long time regular who a little out of control with firmness and dignity. As a long time visitor it is a pleasure to see such restraint from someone who could have let things get out of hand. I just hope she realizes what a friend she has in someone who looks after her like he does (the regular). It made me think Fl how the entire staff and the other patrons look after each other so much. It is such blessing to have a place like this in our neighborhood. Anyone who wants to be a part is welcome and those who don't understand can go somewhere else.
