Sweet CoCo G - Macadam store — Restaurant in Portland

Made fresh and lots of varieties of pastries (sweet and savory), cinnamon rolls, cookies, pies, and one of the most generous portions of coffee cake I’ve ever seen. They have coffee, lattes and lunch as well. The moment you enter the store you are greeted with warmth and calm. Place your order and then sit back for a moment and admire the display cases full of deliciously crafted baked goods! This cinnamon roll was too good to leave at the office so I took it home to share with my family for dessert. Even that night, it was still fresh and soft, aaaaand, look at those layers! Gorgeous! CocoG is one of my most favorite places to come, sit down, relax and enjoy some delicious comforting food. If you’re lucky Joe will be working and come sit and chat for a bit.

Their pastries are delicious! My favorites are their pumpkin coffee cake (super moist and a fall favorite), cinnamon roll (best I’ve had in town) and their Din-Ding Dumpling Bowl (get it spicy). Don’t forget their pies! So many different kinds to choose from.

Their location is ADA accessible with swinging doors and smooth entry. They have a restroom along with indoor and outdoor seating.

Love this place! I got there around 7:40 am not knowing they open at 8:00 so I started to leave to go across the street to the "other" coffee place, but they opened the door and let me in. I briefly waited while they put out the fresh-baked goods and brewed coffee. So happy to patronize a truly local shop with the yummiest pastries and to be pleasantly surprised with real, non-corporate, non-contrived service. A...
