Terrible experience today. 7/29/2016. In the beginning the person taking my order was too busy chatting with another costumer and forgot to get me my drinks, most of my order was wrong. I ordered a huarache, and was given a taco. I asked for a burger for my kids, and was surprised to find out the burger comes with hot sauce. Never did the menu say "spicy " or the person who took my order mentioned something about been hot.So my daughter ended up with a terrible stomachache due to this.((( Tip:: If you end up getting a burger for your kids please make sure you ask them several times to DO NOT ADD SAUCE. )) after I made a second order of this burger I was asked again three times by several people working there, if they should put sauce. Then I made a simple order of two tacos, which took forever to be made. I had to go and asked if it was ready and it seems that they had forgotten about it. So they made it right away after they saw my frustration..They Definitely need to be more organized and keep track of their orders. Personally, I will not be coming back and will not recommend this place to anyone. Spend more than 30min. Just Making sure they had my order correctly, and ended up paying extra because of their...

I was on a 30 mile bike ride where I did not bring any snacks or enough water on a 90 degree day… I know… I stopped cause I smelled delicious food that brought me back to my childhood and times in Mexico... Mi cultura beckoned me. I had yet to find any authentic Mexican food in Portland (Im originally from Southern California the best place Mexican food can be found outside of Mexico of course 😉) but this place seemed hopeful. And I was correct! This place is a tiny oasis of authentic reasonably priced Mexican food. I had a flor De jamaica drink and ordered the Lengua torta and added beans. It was soooo good! I'm full and satisfied and no longer dying of hunger or thirst. Muchisimas gracias! I...
Read moreNot only did this spot pass the vibe check upon first walking under their tent, the classic mexi jams were playing and they had the salsa assortment and the caramelized onions on the grill, but they delivered on the flavor. I settled on a quesibirria, one al pastor taco, and one tripas taco (extra crispy, iykyk) and a cooling cucumber agua fresca. The service was friendly and welcoming, and fast. There's outdoor seating, mostly under cover and shaded. Parking can be tricky since they're right off Foster but I found a spot on 86th, around the corner. I'm telling all my friends about this place and I'll definitely be...
