The People that run or just Work at Lents Park were Rude and Really Strange to my Wife and I... We went there for a Short walk... And i.m from Portland but that.s many years ago... That is one Main reason we left Portland Oregon is the People... My wife and I are both 60 years old... So we ask what was going on and in a very Nasty Rude way the Women who works inside as a pop and popcorn booth... Said and pointed at a sign and the sign said said the Portland Pickles...

I was still at a lost and the Lady who pull in with her truck seem upset that we were parked legally in the Disable parking spot My wife and I have many body problems... She drove in just to take some paper or plastic cups in... So she felt she could not park like everybody else That she felt in titled to have to drive in... One of the prayers who seen what was going on He was gearing up and came to us and told us to pay no attention to these Mainly Women who he said has a little Power that goes to there head... The Player explained that it was Collage base ball... Very Pleasant young Man I will never go to Lents Park again not in this life time I hope they read this and i.m sure i.m not the FIRST to experience this... And to on top of being in our 60s we were driving a brand New Cadillac... So it was not that we might be up to something with our 8 pound little Dog... Just one more reason I can.t stand Portland Oregon Where I was born and raised and went to School there... It's so sad to see Portland Oregon like this... It's was not nothing like this in the 60s 70s and part of 80s... God forgive them for they know...

I have always loved this park and taken my kids here for years. It now has a new updated playground that has AstroTurf and rubber ground. My kids had the most fun on the AstroTurf Hill they played King of the mountain and got tons of laughs trying to get up the hill and sliding back down. There is a climbing rock in the center and some drums that you can play there is also swings and slides. Next to it there is a community garden and up above it there is a basketball court and tennis courts. Right now there is construction on the whole street where you would normally park but it should be so nice once they finish it. There is also a field next to the playground where you could play catch or football or even fly a kite. This is definitely one of my go to Parks when I'm in the area. We will definitely be going again and recommending to others ♥️🙏 on the upper part of the park there are lots of baseball fields and soccer...

Great park. Lots of picnic tables and shade. Well maintained and clean. The current home of the Portland pickles baseball team. Be sure and get yourself out to Walker stadium for a first-hand glance at the world Renowned Portland pickles baseball team! If you have not made it out to Walker stadium which is located within Lents Park, You should surely make your way and witness a Portland pickles baseball game. The basketball courts are well maintained. Tennis courts on the other hand seem to have gone into some state of depression. No nests are in place. That doesn't look like anyone has tended to the surface for about 10 years. If you have an RC car, maybe a good place to go cruise around would be the tennis court. No one is using the tennis courts and the courts would provide a nice place with some dynamic terrain for any kind of touring car or possibly rally RC car that you might have...

It's a really nice park .very large ..it hosts pickle games which I believe is softball.im not certain though. It has a large play ground with cool stuff children of all ages can play on.it has a community garden and a week or so ago they were giving away free food for those in need ..some really good food from new seasons ,whole foods and nature's ,and trader joes. Last but not least they have a out house which has been a lifesaver for me and my kids .we get playing and forget we had to go an hour ago so with out that porta -potty we would have had an accident ..it is really clean for a porta-potty..I was pleasantly surprised and grateful it was there.lol
