Not crazy about this place First off, google links me to the clackamas phone number, but the maps link took me to se 82nd and foster. Upon arrival, realize they actually do not buy computers as advertised. I had previously spoken with someone, who assured me i could sell my lenovo there if i got to the store before closing time. When i went in the se location, i was informed that i was actually talking with someone in clackamas. the se store doesnt even buy computers AT ALL! why? Because of break ins/robberies? Fair. Take it off your sign. The coward in the store told me that clackamas would buy my computer. Lot of deflection and "go ask your ma/your pa" type switcheroo antics alredy for my taste. Approaching close to closing time, i panicked and got an emergency lyft to happy valley, only to have my heart broken again by the very store that said they would give me an offer that same day for bill money that i needed badly. (Another long, droll tale) With a half hearted apology, the young gentleman informed me that the liar who misguided me not 90 minutes before had left for the day. Further investigation revealed that the (older guy, whom i spoke on the phone with) guy had no authority as a buyer. My heart sank. I felt violated, wasted money on a lyft. Most of all, i was lied to again and again and inconvenienced repeatedly. I ended up shortselling myself about 40 bucks to get the laptop off my hands. Don't ever let them mmget your hopes up. This place was amazing now. Before I submit, I will say this took longer than expected, no fault of theirs. My issue was that the comouter would not turn on to speak. I did my own research. My DC Jack was shorted, and I called around, and they mentioned it could be the battery. So I'm pretty technically inclined, so I opened it and replaced the battery. I was getting inpatient and getting rough with the parts, so I think I damaged this a little further. Now, the part that I was needing to replace the DC jack was too small they paid for the shipping and the part, and it ended up taking longer than typical coming from over sees I work from my comouter so I didn't want to wait honestly I couldn't so they offered to transfer a hard rive to a loner computer. The transparency ad the customer service was great I have no complaints they ordered a second peice from a US vendor to speed up the process so I greatly appreciate Mark, Rita and Paul for all the help and getting my baby back in one peace. Don’t go here, I got my iPhone screen repaired and a few days later it fell out while in my pocket. They were so unprofessional and called me a lair and when my fact based argument And evidence Trumpet their nonsense they said “How do even know it’s the same phone” After about an hour they agreed to fix their shotty work. The guy that fixed the phone has to be like a nephew or son of the owners Because he definitely has a entitled I don’t know what I’m doing This is not OK but it’s OK type of attitude THE RESPONSE:: “They erased it obviously” Well the response speaks for itself I guess😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 And now you know that their PR skills are to par with cell phone repair and customer service skills. I’m not a liar I support my family, I have a job I was with my son and I try very hard to Lead by example And I teach him the value in honesty. I want my children to have a good Moral compass. But on a brighter note, you all got a peak into this horrific unreliable sloppy unprofessional behavior you can expect.
