This place got remodeled, and the previous owner is gone. The rating on this is mostly the previous name Pho Vietnam, so if you see the rating, it seems high, definitely not them. The food here is nothing to compare to the Pho Vietnam, and this new name V lounge the price is expensive and it doesn't even taste good. The place looks good, but the food is not good at all, and the portion is way less. The staff is not getting the communication right, from the getgo we we're greeted by 2 staff and ask multiple times how many people. When we ordered, there was already another misunderstanding. We only ordered 3 items, but we only got 2 of the orders. I asked for fork and spoons, and they only gave me 2, but there's 4 of us. We waited for our order and no one there but us, and they have at least 4 or 5 staff members doing nothing. 15 minutes for 1 item to arrive, then the other food arrives 10 minutes later. Let me say this again we are the only customer. I usually tip, but this time, I did not. The service is bad way bad. I do not recommend this at all to anyone. I would not come back here at all. I miss the old Pho Vietnam. Like I said, if you see a review that is 5 star from a previous owner. Those ratings belong to Pho Vietnam. Not to this new V lounge. Check the review for old Pho Vietnam before you order here or go to this place. You will regret it. I do not recommend this place, and that's how bad it is.

This is just my experience. I ordered 3 things but only given two, they forgot my 3rd order- I didn’t complain as I just wanted to leave and was just done waiting. The house special fried rice ($20) tasted like reheated left over from the previous day and it was burnt scorched rice. The amount for $20 dollars was small. That was the first item that arrived. The second came almost 10 minutes after which was “M7- Combine stir fried egg noodle -Crispy” also $20. Honestly the taste wasn’t bad but I’ve had better. The noodles were okay but there weren’t much meat- 2 pieces of shrimp and some chicken. Now, I gave this place 2 stars because the place was pretty clean. That’s about it. For those wondering if it’s wheelchair ♿️ accessible; the dining area is but the bathroom isn’t- not the women’s when I checked.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the staff is friendly. However, I was very disappointed with the food quality. Recently, I decided to order the fried fish dish to go, as it looked great in their Facebook advertisement. For $25, I expected a decent portion, but I received a small, thin saddest fish that did not meet my expectations at all (see photos). This was unfortunately one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had.

March 2024 update: Pho Vietnam has a new management/owner and name, V restaurant. Other than the fact that it's Vietnamese, this is a totally different restaurant. I would recommend that the owners create a separate Google profile.

V is much more posh than the Pho Vietnam. Good news for vegans and vegetarians is that they offer more options. I ordered the vegetables with soft noodles. Points to V on the freshness of the veggies, which included enoki mushrooms. Honestly, I had my heart set on the flavorful vermicelli noodles with lemon grass tofu from Pho Vietnam. I found myself dousing the dish with chili sauce. We started with an order of vegan spring rolls which came with a soy-based sauce rather than a sweet-sour sauce (probably not traditional but not as salty).

They seemed to have adequate staff but things seem disorganized. My dish arrived late with my friend nearly completing her meal before my order arrived. Everyone was apologetic and explained that they were still working out the kinks, as they just open (in late February).

Another big change is that they serve alcohol. Their bar isn't ready, in fact the whole restaurant is a work in progress. They were literally doing electrical work during our dinner. Also, they were testing their audio/video system, blasting music as we were trying to eat.

Bottomline, If you are expecting the same menu as Pho Vietnam, you may be disappointed. I do suspect that their menu is more authentic. If you're going close to when this review has been posted, be prepared that everything is in flux and they may be doing construction during your meal.

As always, I encourage you to try V and make up your own mind. Restaurants can a tricky business and we should encourage and support our local restaurant scene. I'll try it again once they're done with the construction and things settle down.

Pho Vietnam seemed to get overlooked by the Korean restaurant on the corner but it’s definitely worth checking out. I went with my meat eating friend and we both left impressed.

Vegetarians have options! I ordered the Vermicelli noodle with Lemon Grass Tofu. Highly recommended.

The restaurant was clean and the...

I have never been treated how I was treated at this place. My friend and I both went in to play a couple bucks on a machine and we ran out of money and we're waiting 4 friend to finish up last few dollars. As soon as we were done on our machines she came by and locked them. Then proceeded to scream at the top of her longs at us you guys need to get out get out get the phuket out. Repidadly screamed proceeded to grab a broom and swing it at me. After we walked out front door she came behind me with one of the waited sign holders above her head about to swing it at the back of my head. The whole time this was happening I was asking her why she is screaming at us? What did we do wrong? She just kept literally screaming at the top her lungs get out! I have never been treated in such a way. Especially for no good reason what so ever! She is...
