This is a great public house, quite a few people that frequent this place are locals. There is ample seating for small or large groups, a full bar, and an entire half of the place that has games galore (darts, pool, shuffle board, Foosball, internet jukebox, & board games.) In addition they have televisions behind the bar and a large projection screen for game days and corny older movies shown later at night.
There is always a good selection of beers and ciders on tap and in bottles, the food is delicious and they serve it all night which really comes in handy if you find yourself there later in the evening with a craving for good pub/restaurant fare.
There is a flight of stairs to get up to the pub and I don't believe they have an elevator so it isn't...
Read moreThe Sellwood Public House is a fun, cozy place to hang out. The food is fabulous, tonight i had roasted red jalapenos with a cream cheese and bacon filling, fish tacos that were amazing and apple pie made by the owner's mom...no really, i don't care if the guy was lying...it was really the best apple pie i've had (sorry mom). My week was really long so i couldn't wait to just chill out and have a beer. The beer list was ample and had a bunch of stuff i hadn't ever tried. The bartender that helped me was funny and didn't mind talking to me even though she was sort of busy...she let me have a taste of a few beers i was deciding between. I really just had a great time, tomorrow i'm going to play ping pong and watch the Timbers match. GREAT time, i'll...

The food was very sub par. Their buffalo wings were drum stick only, which is just dumb. Order the wing and the drum from Cisco. On top of that, they were under cooked and soggy. They serve very unripe produce on their sandwiches and were out of French fries. Their high number of dart boards is off set by their very used and no longer true shuffle board table which isn't worth playing on, and their one pool table which has also seen better days.
It was fine for a visit, and I'd go back to play darts, if I brought my own darts, but otherwise I won't...
