Horrendous food. I had the eggs Benedict, BF ordered a chicken club and an oyster shooter. BF ate the side salad and took one bite of the sando but couldn't stomach the rest. The veg was wilted to the point of being slimy, like they had taken the whole assembled sando and slapped it under a broiler. The chicken breast was dry. My eggs Benedict would have been fine except that the hollandaise sauce tasted more like nacho cheese from a can and was also stone cold which made everything else tepid. The eggs were a little more undercooked than I would have liked but not inedible. The hash browns were extra crispy and we enjoyed those. The oyster shooter didn't come until after we had finished eating. Dark, dank, nasty food...never again.

If you're looking for a place with a great menu, amazing atmosphere and great customer service, then this would have been the place to come to two years ago. That was until they slashed their four page menu in half, removed most of the good items and doubled their prices. Then they did it again--at least regarding slashing their menu in half. The Sellwood Public House is but a ghost of its former self; the walls mostly bare and the local bar/pub feel has been replaced with a sterile and dead environment. The once delicious food now a deep fried frozen product from a plastic bag.

Pretty sweet bar. The bartender made a great old fashioned and my friends lemon drop was great too. A bunch of bar games here like darts, pool, shuffle board and even corn hole and ping pong.

This is a great public house, quite a few people that frequent this place are locals. There is ample seating for small or large groups, a full bar, and an entire half of the place that has games galore (darts, pool, shuffle board, Foosball, internet jukebox, & board games.) In addition they have televisions behind the bar and a large projection screen for game days and corny older movies shown later at night.

There is always a good selection of beers and ciders on tap and in bottles, the food is delicious and they serve it all night which really comes in handy if you find yourself there later in the evening with a craving for good pub/restaurant fare.

There is a flight of stairs to get up to the pub and I don't believe they have an elevator so it isn't...

The Sellwood Public House is a fun, cozy place to hang out. The food is fabulous, tonight i had roasted red jalapenos with a cream cheese and bacon filling, fish tacos that were amazing and apple pie made by the owner's mom...no really, i don't care if the guy was lying...it was really the best apple pie i've had (sorry mom). My week was really long so i couldn't wait to just chill out and have a beer. The beer list was ample and had a bunch of stuff i hadn't ever tried. The bartender that helped me was funny and didn't mind talking to me even though she was sort of busy...she let me have a taste of a few beers i was deciding between. I really just had a great time, tomorrow i'm going to play ping pong and watch the Timbers match. GREAT time, i'll...

Not a very satisfying experience. This place has all the makings of a decent public house, tv's with sports, about 8 beers on tap, bar games, etc. But there is a lot to be desired. The food was very sub par. Their buffalo wings were drum stick only, which is just dumb. Order the wing and the drum from Cisco. On top of that, they were under cooked and soggy. They serve very unripe produce on their sandwiches and were out of French fries. Their high number of dart boards is off set by their very used and no longer true shuffle board table which isn't worth playing on, and their one pool table which has also seen better days.

It was fine for a visit, and I'd go back to play darts, if I brought my own darts, but otherwise I won't...
