It was funny I was looking for a park by the river and Google maps took me there. I never got very close to the river though. The park was beautiful. It had amazing trees and well kept gardens. I walked into a building where they were having a yoga class. A sign at the entrance read the swimming pool heater was not working. The restrooms I visited were clean and well stocked but apparently no one checked on them during the day. I walked, I meditated, I appreciated all Mother Nature was presenting to me. Obviously there were quite a few undesirables, misguided souls who wanted to sell their poison. I ignored them. More towards the end of my visit, one or more undesirables stank up the air with that fetid, putrid smell, ewww! I appreciate Fabreeze too and always carry with me. Besides, I was leaving. The park was great. Hell are the others.

A lot of older equipment here meaning that the swings and slides are bigger than they make them these days. They also have seesaws which I don't see very often very nice touch. It's in a beautiful wooded park with a nice little nature walk and field nearby. Bathrooms and some water right next door and it's next to the swim center for the community. A nice regular park.

A lovely, densely wooded park overlooking the river. A wonderful place for playing, picnics, jogging, biking, sightseeing, whatever. There were a ton of robins flitting about today. There are plenty of benches and picnic tables. If you have kids or are young at heart, there are swings and a play structure. Come here at sunrise or sunset for magnificent views.

Sellwood Park is really neat. It's right by the river and oaks Park amusement Park. From sellwood Park you get a pretty good view of oaks Park amusement which has roller skating, pretty fun rides, carnival games and of course my favorite sweet of all the sweets, cotton candy. The park offers trails to walk that are friendly for families, walking dogs, walking alone (as far as I know). There's a dock you can walk out onto the river (wouldn't suggest swimming considering it is the Willamette) with houseboats. The houseboat owners are all nice for my experience, as long as you're respectful when on the dock. I've met a lot of really really friendly people walking their dogs as well it seems like a place that people go to just enjoy themselves and easily pass on the...
