I've been to High Water Mark loads of times. It's a great bar in my neighborhood. Stopped in with a friend a couple days ago for dinner. Yes we came just to have dinner, that's how ridiculously good the food is here. We ordered vegan cheese steak and vegan nachos. My friend got a white claw and I snagged a CBD soda. It's really nice of them to offer N/A options besides water or soda from the gun. I don't drink alcohol anymore and it helps make me feel included when there's options for me. The cheese steak was on point I will definitely get this again. The nachos were also really good! I've had the vegan tacos before and those are also fantastic. The fries for whatever reason always hit me as slightly too salty, but still really great. I've also been in for the Monday night Artshitz craft market, the Sunday night Paint Fight, and even a few shows. The sound is always great here! If you're just coming for dinner or to see a show, its hard to be disappointed. I also host a drink & draw here from time to time. 🤘 The back patio is large! There's two separate seating areas, both covered, one has a fire pit and the other has heaters. So wherever you're sitting you'll be toasty, warm, and dry.

This is honestly a very impressive bar and small venue and it's awesome to see a place that hosts a friendly metalhead community in the area. It's amazing how good the sound team is and I appreciate any place that allows music lovers to access and listen to live music easily and at affordable prices. They host a lot of local heavy bands and other events, and connected to the bar and restaurant area is the stage. I had a difficult time here solely due to my sensory processing issues and crowds are typically not my thing, but I always understand what I am getting into and my partner was impressed by how much the place is able to fit into a fairly small building. Maybe others with similar disorders may experience the same thing, but otherwise it should be good. We ordered some pork belly fries during the show and it was delicious. They seem to have a good fusion menu.

This bar and the staff were AWESOME! Unfortunately found it because of the horrible tragic murder of DANAE Williams..they tried to help her.. they were traumatized by this..happened right in front of them. When we came to put flowers and mourn her loss they came out and with open arms and embraced her mother and the rest of us with welcoming warm sympathy. They let us take over several tables and let us remember her. We were hestant to even stay very long but after the staff and community, we didn't want to leave! Thank you High Water Mark.

Jan 2025: Came here for a Dyke Arm Wrestling event and they handled the crowd very well. I never would have expected to see boobs at a public bar without also seeing gross men creeping. But it was a fun and tasteful event all around and if there were any weirdos that came in, the bar handled them prompt and tactfully. I ordered a vegan cheese steak with soy curls and no onion. It came to me looking tasty AF but with onions. I showed the bartender who I ordered it from and he apologized and said he would have it remade. Then came back and said they were out of soy curls but I could have anything I wanted on the menu. I said I knew they were busy so I didn't want to ask for more food and waste what they already made so I decided to try to eat the sandwich. I only got a few bites in before my allergies started kicking in but I was okay. I went back up and said I couldn't do it and just ordered some fries that he comped and he said I could keep the sandwich for my friend. He brought me the friend and asked if I wanted ANYTHING else and offered to bring me another CBD soda, I said Yes. I forgot about my last review and the fries were still quite salty but edible. They have a big fire pit outside in the back I just wish it wasn't full of cigarette butts but ashtrays were limited so people are going to do whatever they want with it. Their bouncer is hella down to earth.

Between the vegan options, the CBD drinks options, and the amazing staff, I highly recommend this spot!!

Fall 2023: Came in on a Friday night around 10pm and it was fairly quiet. Prices are affordable for food. Staff was friendly and prompt. Ordered some fries and they were really heavy with the salt so I couldn't...

The hubby and I went to go check this place out the other night and we both agree we would like to make a return visit.

This place reminds me a lot of the Alleyway which makes sense as this place was created by the same people. This is not a bad thing, there is always a need for more unpretentious neighborhood bars that cater to vegetarians.

There is a huge room that seems to serve many purposes. There is a pool table, pinball, Buck Hunter, and even a ping pong table. On some nights they move some of the games out of the way to make room for live bands to play. When I peeked in there was a large projector screen showing one of the NHL playoff games.

They have a fairly large back patio with long picnic tables. They seem to be dog and smoker friendly.

We only had a couple of cheap drinks while we were there, but would love to try the food next time we stop by. Aother selling point for this place is it is close to several other bars on NE Dekum St... bar...
