Modo Boutique — Local services in Portland

One of my go-to consignment shops! Gorgeous finds for any occasion. One of the few consignment shops I can find well-cared-for Eileen Fisher items at reasonable prices. It's always worth a pop into the shop to see what's on rotation, as they rotate through most things in 3 month stints. It's also a solid shop for finding gifts. The only thing I wish this shop had more of is local colorful jewelry. Most of their jewelry is metal and does not match the colorful nature of the clothing they carry (in my opinion). That's just me being picky though--I'll just keep buying funky earrings at Birds & Bees and street...

Worst experience EVER! Wanted me to sign a contract and leave over $5000 worth of Chanel...she was rude! Don't consign here. Read your response...you were rude...own your behavior...did not want to do business with us you said...we found Musis in Tigard..much more professional and kind. You were unwilling to explain ANYTHING! We had never consigned before. I had some questions and you made me feel like I should just know your store policies and trust you. I've consigned with Modo Boutique off and on over the past 10 years and its always been a pleasant experience. I like the fact that consigners can submit a consignment request in advance so they don't waste time submitting items that Modo is not looking for. Modo provides a fair market value price listing of the items once items are received in their store. I've always had the option of reclaiming my unsold items or allowing them to be donated.
