Trouble Bar — Restaurant in Portland

I went here with high expectations and they were certainly exceeded! The music and ambience spoke to my miserable millennial soul. The alcoholic drinks made me feel happy and outgoing but after the third one I was admittedly a little disoriented. I was able to move freely in the space though and access the restroom frequently despite the moderate sized crowd. Bartenders were handsome, cool and unpretentious, meeting all of my very particular needs. Prices were low, morale was high. In time, I think they work out the kinks and it’s a long lasting corner bar. The pros: good location, laid back and approachable. Cheap and fast hot dogs - and you can bring in outside food (big win).

Areas to improve: lackluster draft list, wildly inconsistent bartender ability on in-house cocktail menu (at a premium price) where most drinks had noticeable issues - hopefully is an easy fix w more training or...

Visiting from out of town stopped in and loved the atmosphere of this bar. Was comfortable to sit visit eat a hotdog and have drinks.
