Uncle Tsang's Kitchen — Restaurant in Portland

This may be the best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. Definitely the best in Portland. Absolutely the best vegetarian/vegan Chinese food I’ve ever had!

This food reminded me of a Chinese restaurant just around the corner from me while growing up in LA. The chow mein noodles have the perfect chewy texture, and is so incredibly flavorful! I could live off these noodles alone and pair it with every meal, and always be satisfied.

The imitation meat was delicious as well. I personally would prefer the crispy tofu to be a bit more crispy, and a bit more tough/pressed?? but maybe others prefer a lighter/softer tofu. Still, I would be happy ordering any dish with tofu.

The person working their was so sweet, funny, and kind. Just incredible service, truly! I can’t wait...

Been here twice so far. And I'm here to say the food is delicious. 1 st vist I got Kung Pow tofu About 2 months later I got sesame tofu and an order of mustard greens. My second visit cost 15.75 which included a small bottle of water. Every thing was Yum!😊.

The only thing I wish I could change would be more veggies. The sesame tofu comes with veggies. I just wish their were more of them. The Order of mustard greens portion could have been slightly more. But that's not going to stop me from going here again.The food is very tastey. Also the gentleman that owns it; is friendly and comes out to ask if your enjoying your food. That's nice.... service...

some of the best food in portland. quite literally go to this food cart area only for tsang so when I went on a Sunday and found they were so closed I was so sad. anyways their food is GOOD, like actual good flavor (I'm saying this as not a white person from portland but as a mexican from socal) and HEAT so be wary if you dont like good tasting spiced food lol. their portions are big and I'm a foodie so when my friend and I order we can never finish it but that just means yummy leftovers. everything is good, their menu is huge, I order something different everytime and it always hits. would recommend their appetizers...
