Wendy's — Restaurant in Portland

This used to be one of the best drive throughs anywhere. My experience was so bad this evening that it is laughable. After ordering by number, we were asked to pull forward so we could be served fresh fries. I get it. It's Friday night. They're busy. I knew something was wrong than the lady who took our order came out and sat down next to my car to smoke a cigarette. I rolled down my window and said,"hi" she said, "sorry about that. I've been sent to lunch and they cleared out your order." When I went back inside the woman behind the counter said, and I am not making this up, "I have been in the bathroom throwing up for the last thirty minutes." Wow, I said, that is off putting. She asked me to repeat my order five times. In the end I was told I could have a refund but would have to leave because we had raised voices. It did get loud so I honestly took that in stride. I took the refund, apologized for my initial tone and pointed out quietly that it really escalated because at least five workers joined the conversation. One young man came from the back and said we needed to change our tone. It became difficult to hear anything when all the staff was talking at once. In fairness to the young lady she said that the manager should have been there two hours ago. I agree. This place was clearly left without leadership and it was ridiculous how ineffective the staff was at fixing a relatively common and simple mistake. The truth is I wasn't yelling and used no inappropriate language. In fact, I didn't even argue. I am sure no one will care but I have been going to that Wendy's since they built it when I was attending vestal grade school and I will...

Friday night August 4th 645pm. First time in a few years to Wendys and it was the idea of a friend. I wish he never suggested it because I wont be going back to one.

I ordered a double burger combo with a drink and a baked potato then after eating came back to the counter ask for a refill on iced tea to go the lady behind the counter went back consulted the manager and we'd only give refills on sodas but not Iced Teas I was also wearing my Planet speaks love shirt and I was with another man who was not my partner but just a friend with me at the restaurant he was already out of the restaurant when I asked the lady for a refill and she said no all I said was bad review bad review and walked out. I didnt catch the name of the employee but it was a black lady and walked out. She said only colas not ice teas and I walked out with the empty cup.

As soon as I walked out this stupid manager Justin who I never saw in the restaurant walked out said dont be cursing my employees and i said all I said was the bad review this store is getting a bad review said get off the property or I'll call the police and he would not give me a refill.

I am reporting it to corporate office Justin should not be in a managerial position he should be fired from his job. I am also seeking my money back from Wendys and or my credit card used to pay for the meal. I PAID for a COMBO and should have gotten a refill.

It was also 100 degrees that day in Portland.

Please AVOID WENDYS ESPECIALLY THIS LOCATION. Go to Burgerville much better food and never had any trouble at any of their locations.

This place was not a good experience. Could not hear the young lady when ordering, got to the window the young lady helping us wasn't friendly at all.Order was messed up. Called and talked to a Brianna the manager, she's the reason why I'm even giving Wendy's a star. She told us that if we came back in they'd give us the items that were missing and incorrect. When we arrived back we made it through the drive thru immediately got nothing but grief from the cashier who originally helped us. Finally she let us talk to Brianna and while she was trying to help us the cashier and another lady were being extremely rude and very unprofessional towards us. Brianna told them to give us the burgers that were missing still being rude finally gave us our food. We left but unfortunately didn't feel good at how we were treated and became really uncomfortable towards eating the food from fear they may have done something to it being the time it took to receive the food and the anger these two ladies were showing. Ended up finding a homeless person and giving him the food due to the fear of something bad done to the food. Had to go somewhere else and got food there. This was the crappiest service I have gotten and will not go back to that Wendy's again and I will let my friends and family and possibly post this on Facebook for...
