Five Guys — Restaurant in Portsmouth

I've never had a bad meal at this or the Seabrook location but I went tonight and the service was exceptional. I went with my parents and unfortunately did not catch the name of the cashier who waited on us, but we all ordered shakes and she overheard me talking about ordering cherries in mine next time; on our way out when she asked how our food was, she asked if I wanted to try a sample of the cherry for next time. Then she suggested I try it with peanut butter instead to make a pb&j shake. She quickly whipped up a sample which was probably something I never would have ordered on my own before, but having tried it was amazing! I will definitely be ordering that next time - but more than anything I was really appreciative of the attention she paid to me as a customer and the level of customer service she provided....

I give it a 2 due to the fact that the restaurant was dirty and the expensive food no better then Wendy's, Actually Wendy's I think is better and doesn't leave you thirsty. The tables and floors are a mess and it was cold in there. My wife can make a bacon cheese burger that blows away five guys, as well as hand cut fresh french fries. Cheese was cold on burger and not melted and cheep yellow cheese. Fries are way too salty. I can make a better burger on the grill, To top it off on our experience as well as others who had to move to not be enveloped in dust , Was the guy who came out sweeping the disgusting floor up into the air around people eating. Over rated and too expensive for a hamburger place. Never...

My husband and I stopped here on our way home from a doll and bear show, to get a bite to eat. This was our first time eating here and I have to say it was most delicious. My husband ordered the cheeseburger, I ordered a little bacon cheeseburger and we shared a regular french fry. The burgers were cooked to perfection, and the fries were homemade. When I took a bite of one of the fries, it reminded me of when my mom would cook her own fries when I was growing up.
