I've been to this Taco Bell only a few times, and none of those times have I had a pleasant experience. The other day I went in after placing a mobile order 20 minutes prior to entering. I had to wait 15 minutes to talk to someone about picking up my order despite there being 4 avalible people by the drive thru and no customers (2 of the ladies were on there phone, and the times I tried to call someone over, I was either ignored or told to wait because they were "busy with a drive-thru customer"(There were no customers)). After those 15 minutes of waiting, I asked about my order and they claimed that it was not in their system and therefore could not give me my order, even though I showed him the bill and the order number, and how I was already charged. He began mansplaining on how it was a corporate problem and cannot see previous order numbers, and bought that up multiple times. Im pretty sure that not even a stupid person would fall for that, since they literally would not be able to make any orders if they cannot see previous order numbers. After the franchise lectures, I stayed and about an hour past since every time I tried to talk it through, they walked away, again claiming to be "busy". I cannot stress the fact that literally no one came and there were 4 workers. After a while, I of being ignored to the point I was yelling to call them over, I still being kind even though I was so annoyed. The funny thing is, its obvious they lie about things and this can be seen where I called my friend, saying out loud (really loud) on purpose so they could hear, "The internet here is SO BAD, I can't even load the receipt to show them my order confirmation, and I had to go out to the car to do so. I even showed them proof of my receipt and the order number and they charged me and I showed them the charge and they said it was their franchise problem. I'm going to write a really bad review and ask for a refund because this is not acceptable. I should not have to wait here for an hour". As I finished my call with my friend, the guy brings my order, as if it has been waiting there but not made due to either their laziness, or something. The guy who said he doesn't have my order in the system bringing all this in after I told my friend I would demand a refund, shows how they lied thinking they could fool us, and then realizing that they can't. It's honestly extremely embarrassing for them. Also, efforts put into the making of the food is so bad that I can't help but laugh, because 4 people are just too busy working on 1 single order to worry about how it looks. At the end I still didn't receive two of the items I ordered; however, was charged for it.

Edit: 9/29/2023: This location has improved some with time so stars increased from 1 to 3 - though they annoyingly leave all exterior lights off at night (including the drive thru menu). If it was only once I'd assume it was an accident but it's very consistent. And word of mouth opinion is that it's a way of discouraging customers from thinking they're open. ~~~~~~~ Terrible. If I could give it zero stars I would. The staff here clearly don't feel like they're accountable. Their customer service skills are dismissive and rude. The food served straight from the drive-thru is already cold. I ordered a few cravings boxes and they spread the orders randomly through the boxes and just shrugged and handed me an empty box and told me I can sort it myself. I ordered a crunchwrap Supreme, add jalapeños, and was unable to eat more than three bites before I peeled it open and found it was completely full of jalapeños. I counted and there were 46 slices, and I'd already eaten 3 bites completely full of them. I'm angry and disappointed. This place went downhill fast.** **Note: this order was placed online so there was no personal interaction between them and myself prior to them making the food. I did nothing to justify them intentionally ruining my food.

Very bad experience at this location, I didn't receive what I order for my kid's. That was 2 order of burrito supreme and 1 chessy bean and rice burrito and what I received is 1 burrito supreme and 2 cheesy bean and rice burrito. My lost of money is $6.34 with added extra jalapeños and I had to buy some other food for my kid. My kid so upset he said why they did this to my order ?????? Keep focus on present customer order and don't talk to other colleagues during making orders this is how you can avoid this mistake and hope you don't ruin someone's dinner.

Very bad experience at this location, I didn't receive what I order for my kid's. That was 2 order of burrito supreme and 1 chessy bean and rice burrito and what I received is 1 burrito supreme and 2 cheesy bean and rice burrito. My lost of money is $6.34 with added extra jalapeños and I had to buy some other food for my kid. My kid so upset he said why they did this to my order ?????? Keep focus on present customer order and don't talk to other colleagues during making orders this is how you can avoid this mistake and hope you don't ruin someone's dinner.

My 3 year old son, Mom, Dad and I came into the Portsmouth NH taco bell to eat dinner at around 5:25ish pm on 8/09/16 biggest mistake of the night...well there was about 2 other customers in the place being served at the time of us placing are order and they got there food pretty quick...The drive threw was also pretty dead and it seemed like we would get are food fast just like we needed to.... We placed are order at the same time we got there and proceeded to wait..After about ten minutes of waiting my dad got up and asked if they forgot about us in a joking tone to the man at front counter...my dad was on his taxi job lunch break and was getting calls left and right so had very little time to waste, he was in a rush to eat and go as was us all... well they said to him it will be out right away sir so he sat back down and we waited for another 25mins in the mean time customers were coming in ordering and leaving quick...my son started getting crazy bored jumping around....my dad started getting upset and red faced with frustration in that time.. my mom was starving as us all and i was also getting just tried of waiting..i was feeling so bad for my dad losing money at his job to sit there and wait for a meel that never came..We all went up to the counter being about 35mins into us placing the order and they said we have no order on are screan ????????? what the hell???? The guy says to us whats the name of the order so we gave them the recept and seen them proceed to just start making it..It had been too long of a wait already so we got the money back and went home hungry my dad also going back to work hungry I don't know what the hell they were doing back there but I am soo pissed!!! soo unbelievable pissed!!! I was screaming and crying on the way home that my family had to go without for the night..We had no time left to stop anywhere else and wait some more cuze we had other things to do at home for the night to pack to go to are family camp in the morning and only had time for a quick meel never making dinner at home.. so because of a employee being carless we ate canned food for the night so Thanks taco bell thanks for wasting are...

My friend and I went to this Taco Bell. I should've just listened to her when she told me it sucked. We get to the drive thru, and there's seven more cars in front of us, hence was the dinnertime hour. I thought that was no biggie, until we waited in line for almost thirty minutes. Finally, we got to order but the guy forgot my taco and was super rude. It took ANOTHER fifteen minutes just to get our food, and when I told the girl that they forgot my taco, she put a finger in my face and said "oNe SeCoNd", acting like it was a HUGE problem. I only said to her "is my taco on there?" rude. The manager came to the window and asked me if I ordered a taco and I said yes, and added it to the order. IT WASN'T EVEN A PROBLEM!! she could've just added it to the computer and got on with her job. Finally we got our stupid food that I just wasn't in the mood for anymore and it tasted absolutely terrible! The doritos taco didn't even taste like a dorito taco, it was a regular taco with orange powder on it, and I'm really concerned what that was. The quesorito was absolutely PUTRID. Wasn't even prepared correctly, rice and beef all on one side, and on the other side with sour cream and the "secret sauce" spilling out. Not evenly distributed and absolutely disgusting! Workers are also wicked rude, if they really don't like their job then they should work somewhere else. The manager was the only nice worker there. Will...
