This delightful breakfast spot in Post Falls was such a wonderful find! The menu is filled with traditional European dishes, which makes it feel like a cozy trip abroad. I started with their Aebleskivers and a carafe of freshly squeezed orange juice—such a refreshing combo! My personal favorite was the savory sausage and cheese Aebleskivers; every bite was bursting with flavor. Their menu has so many tempting options to explore. I also tried the Omelet Stew with fresh-baked sourdough toast and jam, which was just perfect. Other amazing choices include Swedish crepes, German potato pancakes, stuffed French toast, and more! While prices are a bit higher than a chain restaurant like Denny’s, the quality of the food here is on another level. Thank you to our wonderful waiter, Jared, who made some great suggestions and truly made our first visit a memorable one. His attentiveness and friendly service added so much to our experience! This place really prides itself on providing an elevated culinary experience. If you haven’t visited, I’d definitely recommend stopping by!

Great place to eat in the area. Wonderful people but most of all: delicious food. We tried the GULAŞ. I am from Europe, Romania, Transylvania, Arad county, border close to Hungary the home of the GULASH. I like to cook and I like to eat 😁. Every time I go home, I fly to Budapest, Hungary and in my way home I always stop to eat GULASH at this truck stop. They have the best gulas in the world. My mom used to make it all the time. My family makes it all the time. So I know a thing or too about GULAS. But the gulas I had here WAS NOT GULASH. I am sorry, but a gulas is a stew that has to have: onions, red peppers, pork or beef (plenty), potatoes, beans (multiple kinds) and lots of PAPRIKA, that gives it the taste, the arroma, it's like the cherry on top of a cake. Other than this, I belive the restaurant is by far the best I ever had. Oh, and the Austrian coffee, half sweet, was delicious too. Will definitely stop by anytime when in the area to eat here.

Do not go here late in the day!!!! We have been coming here for over 10 years every time we visit the area but always come early in the morning. Today we made the horrific mistake of coming past noon. All our usuals were terrible. Austrian coffee was overfilled and pouring over the side making a complete mess, was cold and tasted nothing like it usually does, just like burnt old coffee. My husband’s toast was black. The Dutch baby was black and way overcooked. Abelskivers were all dough and no insides. Waitress was distracted and only became friendly when my husband was paying the bill and leaving a tip. Usually we love everything about this place. What a bummer, $95 later and nothing was good I hope this was just because it was late in the day and everyone was ready to go home

Came in 4th of July (wearing a American flag shirt that reads- "if this offends you ill help you pack" ) as for if that was the issue or not with the server I'll never know but based on watching her and her demeanor it seems likely to be the case. Patriots beware

Started out being a great service. The older waitress recommended some orange Creamsicle style drinks which we said yes to sounded good. Everything seemed good for most part, business was slowing down enough that I made mention to my wife we must've come in at a good time. The gal took our order, and then 40 minutes later we ended up receiving the coldest food my wife and I have had in years... I believe it or not gave the waitress a benefit of doubt, maybe she went on break and came back and hopped right on it type of scenario, but qe watched as everyone around us recieved their food... in a timely manner, I realize good food takes time but when I check the food and it's cold I start to wonder. I managed to look past it. My wife didn't. In fact my wife didn't finish the food and got it to go. Well less than 5 minutes later we were all pretty much ready to go, waitress came and gave us the bill, at which I immediately grabbed for my wallet, to get the card out.. at which I was confused as she took off hurriedly, I thought maybe she had other things to do... so I had it sitting on the edge of table as anyone would do at any establishment. Later on as we stood up and went to grab the bill and card (now over 10 minutes later) I was confronted by the gal in regards to the bill in which I said "we can just take it up front to the manager if you can't help us." At which she hurriedly again grabs the card reader and grabs my card shoves it in and then hands me the reader in a not so friendly way... then says is there a problem (keep in mind I've been giving this gal the benefit of doubt entire time) and now I'm facing attitude for just wanting to get cashed out in a timely manner... the gal continues on trying to "coach" me on what to do to have someone cash you out "you need to leave it on the edge of table...." I stated I'm 39 years old in that timeframe believe it or not I've learned how to do that.. and I don't need to be coached on it, so I'd appreciate you not adding your input...

I chose no tip. I usually tip the heck out of good service and this is the first time I've ever not tipped...

Stuck around to speak to the "manager". I asked to get a business card from the manager. She stated she didn't have one I replied I would like to speak with you, at which she stood there looking at me with an implying face of we can talk right here, at which I replied do you really want me to talk to you in front of all these people next to the entry door??? Then she said we can talk and led me further away from it. I let her know what was going on, was offered something, but quite frankly I didn't care for any offerings, just wanted to make someone aware higher up in staff of what was going on and that it could have stemmed from people wearing shirts that are about America on 4th of july.

My wife noted that the people being seated as we left, have ate, finished paying and are now leaving within this time I wrote this... I'm starting to believe this was political in nature.

Especially with how rude the gal was towards me immediately when I mentioned there was a problem.

Patriots beware. Won't recommend and...

Not recommended. Food is just ok while their prices are pretty high. Their hashbrowns are terrible. Mushy and flavorless. Everything else is nothing special. Drinks are WAY over priced. Now, to get to the one star review. They do not treat their employees well. My daughter worked there, ordered dutch babies to take home and eat later. Mind you, then have to pay half for their food. Got home, and it was completely raw in the middle. She texted one of the managers and told her the problem and said she wants a remake next time she works. So next shift she mentions it to the manager and she tell her that there is nothing she can do because it has been a few days. (My daughter only works on weekends because she is still in school) She asked the 2nd manager and she said the same thing. Like what was she supposed to do, have me drive her the next day to get it remade? Both managers refused to remake the food that she paid for that the kitchen undercooked. It would have cost them probably $1.00, if not less. It was the cook's fault and they refused to fix it. Next shift she told the managers she still wants it remade since she texted them as soon as she got home, to which they said they will ask the main manager if they can remake it for her. Mind you, this is a simple "tell the cook to make you a new one" and that's it. The main manager told my daughter that it is the 1st manager's fault that she did not see the text right away, but there is nothing they can do at this point. REALLY??? I am just appalled that they would not take care of their employees, especially when they messed up. Not a good company and not worth your money to eat there. Go next door to Dueling Iron. Their food is really good, their selection is much much bigger, and their prices are...

I cannot believe how horrible this experience was. I've lived here my whole life and been here 3-4 times always hoping it'll be better and today took the cake. Server was condensing and short, the food took 45 mins to receive and we were first to be sat. The flies swarming us were extremely irritating and makes you wonder about the cleanliness . I killed 3 at my table alone. I had one on my hand as I lifted my fork to my mouth. The potatoes were soggy with no crisp, the stuffed crepes had almost no filling, and the toast felt like it was steamed not toasted and the bacon smelled like dog treats. Extremely unfortunate especially for the high prices. I never leave reviews but I'm so upset by this I can't help but speak up and save someone else from wasting their time here. I've worked the restaurant industry for 8 years and I'm more than understanding of an oopsie here or there or flies sometimes but to strike out on every account, I can't not say something. I could have spoke up about my food but I was so uncomfortable that it didn't feel worth it and we all know how sending our food back goes when you've worked at a restaurant. You'd think with what a specialty place this is the quality would be a unique and delicious experience. And, as we left, half way out the door, we heard the manager yelling at an employee in the kitchen to put her hair up. (That's awesome, food safety- but....I shouldn't hear that at the front...
