DonutNV — Restaurant in Pottstown

DonutNV is an absolute delight and such a wonderful addition to Downtown Pottstown. My daughter and I decided to stop by on a whim and were thoroughly impressed with the food, staff, and welcoming atmosphere. The donuts are delicious! They are made fresh and come in a large variety of flavors - I highly recommend the powdered sugar variety (tastes exactly like funnel cake!) and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the maple bacon flavor. You can actually watch the donuts being made in front of you while you wait, which is a fun educational activity for young and old alike. In the mood for something other than donuts? The bagels are affordable and a fantastic find, especially if you get them toasted and "smashed" - think panini press. We also highly recommend trying the non-dairy ice cream, which is very tasty treat for everyone, including those that are lactose intolerant. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Eddie took the time to give us a tour and answer all our questions, while Clara patiently prepared our order and then demonstrated how donuts are made there. Both are experts at their jobs and made us feel appreciated as new customers. There is also a very appealing 1950's era ice cream soda shop vibe that adds a fun sense of nostalgia, coupled with a handful of arcade type games in the corner for the kiddos to enjoy after they marvel at the whole donut making process. I have loved DonutNV since I first had one of their donuts! They offer a large variety of mini-donuts made fresh to order. With flavors like Smores (one of my personal favorites!), Strawberry Shortcake, Fruity Pebbles, Vanilla Vanilla, Cinnamon Roll, Glazed, and so many more, there is really something for everyone.

If you're looking for something a bit more filling than donuts, you could get a breakfast sandwich called the Bagel Smash, which even has a Fluffernutter variety! They also offer coffee, fresh lemonade, their own NVous Iced Coffee, and milkshakes. Fresh fruit, yogurt and bottled drinks are also available I believe.

They are a small operation and with DoorDash needing to pretty much be a requirement now, they sometimes get overwhelmed with orders, so please have patience and be kind. Every food is made-to-order, and well worth the wait!

Prices are also very reasonable and sometimes they offer a call ahead discount! It's a much better experience to order ahead, but if you're out for a walk and never tried their stuff, I believe you can ask for a sample of a certain flavor or even of the drinks. Ask to verify...

DonutNV is one of the absolute go-to spots for days we're feeling paid enough to order in, and too lazy to cook breakfast. The smash bagel sandwiches are all amazing, and the donuts are made fresh every time. On top of it all, there's a huge selection of unique toppings you can get for your donuts and they're all that perfect bite size! Today was my first time going to the establishment myself, and I was not disappointed at all. The gentleman at the counter was nothing less than perfectly attentive from the moment I walked in the door all while preparing someone else's order. The spot overall is a bit small, but considering they're better known for their award winning food truck, that's not really much of a downside at all!
