My recent visit to Mrs. Pickles Sandwich Shop was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the unique and inviting atmosphere. The red walls, adorned with wavy tin metal sheets measuring 4 feet wide by 6 feet high, created a rustic and artistic vibe that made the space feel both cozy and stylish. It was clear that every detail in this shop was thoughtfully designed to enhance the dining experience. Now, onto the highlight of my visitâthe Reuben sandwich. This was not just any Reuben; it was a masterpiece. Served on perfectly toasted marble rye bread, the corned beef was piled high, tender, and seasoned to perfection. From the first glance, I knew I was about to enjoy something special. But it wasnât just the sight that impressed me; the taste was out of this world. The tangy sauerkraut and creamy Russian dressing melded beautifully with the hearty, flavorful bread, creating a symphony of flavors in every bite. And letâs not forget the pickle on the sideâa simple yet perfect accompaniment that added just the right amount of crunch and tang to balance the richness of the sandwich. It was a small detail, but one that elevated the entire meal. The ambiance of Mrs. Pickles, combined with the exceptional food, made this a dining experience to remember. The service was equally outstanding. Danasia and Lyss provided warm, attentive, and above-and-beyond service, making me feel truly welcomed and valued. Their friendliness and professionalism added a personal touch that is rare in todayâs fast-paced world.Having visited quite a few restaurants in Pottstown, I can confidently say that Mrs. Pickles is in a league of its own. The combination of delicious, high-quality food, a unique and charming atmosphere, and top-notch service makes this sandwich shop a true standout. On a scale of 1 to 10, Mrs. Pickles deserves an eleven.I am already looking forward to my next visit. If youâre anywhere near Pottstown, do yourself a favor and stop by Mrs. Pickles Sandwich Shop. Itâs a culinary experience you wonât want to miss. Job well done to everyone involvedâI canât wait...
Read moreMy order: 2 empanadas, onion rings, and a corned beef Ruben. The empanada were fantastic! Crispy but not over crispy. Great taste and hot (made to order). The sauce was a but spicy for.me.but Great taste! Onion rings very good as well! Fried perfectly! Crispy and whe. I took a bite, I didn't pull the onion out of the breading! The star, corned beef ruben. I do not like rye bread. The emoyee had no problem switching to Texas toast. Even toasted the bread so it wouldn't get soggy! Offered to give me extra bread in case it was soggy! ( I kindly declined) the corned beef tasted very good. The slaw was good and the perfect amount of sauce and cheese! Outside of New York, it was a great sandwich! Only downfall, it took like 15 minutes and I was the only customer. I have no issue with that being how everything was made to order. I would definitely be back and...
Read moreA coworker informed me about the shop. Two days later we are in front of this very nicely colored store front (my fav colorsâ¤ď¸đ¤) The interior and atmosphere was lovely. Greeted by a wonderfully pleasant woman who waited patiently as we decided on what we wanted. We gave our orders and they even made mine just as I asked. We paid, waited a few minutes and was thanked for coming in. My husband ordered the Philadelphian, and New Yorker. I ordered the corned beef, mustard on rye. First off let me say they did not skimp on the meat, the sandwich was full, over flowing with meat. The meat beautifully cooked and tender. Even had a pickle đĽ. This took us back to NY where getting a classic corned beef on rye was an everyday go to from the kosher deli. Will we return? Most definitely!!!!! If I could give 10â I would. Thank you Ms. Pickle for awakening my...
