Not particularly impressed with this Starbucks location as Iâve had 2 incidences requiring me to call corporate. Unfortunately this is the only drive thru location in poway. I went to Starbucks today and ordered a grande blonde iced latte with pumpkin cold foam. When I got to the window after waiting over 15m in line, my order was wrong, and it took almost 10 minutes just for a receipt reprint! After realizing my order was wrong, I called and spoke with JAMIE, who said she was the manager on duty at the time. I kindly explained to Jamie my issue and asked that she refund me since I was in no position to turn back. Jamie said no and that, that isnât something sheâs able to do over the phone. I explained to Jamie that a week prior when my order was incorrect I was refunded the amount over the phone no problem before the call even ended, to which she rudely just proceeded to tell me the break down of a refund process, and was speaking to me as if my refund request was completely uncalled for. I couldnât wrap my brain around why my order was incorrect and Iâm being being denied a refund so I could purchase the RIGHT drink from a different location, so I asked Jamie for the corp. number & her name. I spoke with a wonderful representative, Alexa who assisted with me not only a refund but $30 in digital SB cards. Truthfully the store was very busy and I wouldâve even been willing to call back later at a less busy time, but I feel like Jamie handled the situation very unprofessionally, and did not even attempt to resolve my issue, as the âmanager on duty.â, and didnât seem to care much about anything I was saying to her.    Read moreGo to a different location! The kids working are way to hyper drinking the products the sell or the complete opposite. They can't take an order properly over the intercom. At the window they are overly energetic peppy which is annoying and worries me about having my drinks dropped (has happened multiple times) or super slow lazy goth depressing which you can see how miserable they are working as it exudes from their joyous personalities. Every time I visit, I have to correct the order pre-payment or make a 2nd window order/payment because the person taking the order and the person processing payment have no communication. They do not work as a team. They are very slow causing traffic issues for the shopping center and main street they are on during busy day hours as the drive through line splits 2 ways and people fight each other for who is next.    Read moreWe went here last December in winter and we got a bacon gouda & egg sandwich, a chai tea, one signature hot chocolate with a snowman cookie. I came here in the early morning in my pjs with my cousin. Not much people but some. The food was delicious but sadly the cookie fell and sunken into the hot chocolate. A few minutes later my mom had arrived unexpected. We were enjoying our morning drinks as it was cold outside. The service was great and staff were friendly. The room wasnât as spacious but thereâs plenty of seating. The tables and chairs were very clean. Noise level was a bit quiet because of the machines staff were using.
