NikNak's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Powell

It was my first visit at NikNak's Ice Cream but it won't be my last! I attended a business meeting in their event space and the area was perfect for out business group's needs. After the meeting, I asked Nikki, "HOW does a person pick a flavor from all these amazing options?!!" She gave me the amazing FLIGHT option where I chose 6 different flavors to try (and let my friends try, too). The scoops were served in a plastic container resembling an egg carton with my receipt detailing the order of flavors in the container! Let me say that ALL of the flavors were as delicious as the names suggested! I cannot pick a favorite! An already wonderful experience at NikNak's got even better when Nikki explained the lengths she goes to in order to be an allergy friendly shop! This is super important to me, as my son is allergic to peanuts and treenuts. SO many other ice cream /yogurt/ custard stores do a poor job at taking this allergy seriously. Nikki keeps the 6 dairy-free ice creams and the flavors with nuts in a separate freezer. They take a variety of precautions when serving any ice cream flavors, milkshakes or toppings with nuts. I so enjoyed my time NikNak's and appreciate Nikki's attention to detail in making the experience wonderful for everyone that walks...

We normally have a great time here but today's employee at the register threw an attitude when SHE got the order wrong. She claimed that I ordered it wrong when I know 100% I didn't because the order we received is something my child 100% doesn't like and would refuse to eat on her ice cream. She had an attitude when my mom went up to ask for a correction...My mom came back with the same incorrect order and said, "She said that this is what you ordered". I went back up to verify that what we were given was not what I ordered and she gave me the same nasty attitude. She then tried to offer a correction but all with a pissy attitude and reiterating, "That is what you ordered but here are these toppings anyway" (giving what I had originally requested in a cup). Was that necessary? Truly? The ice cream is always great and service was prompt but it's that kind of attitude that can eventually cause a business to shutter its doors. She became nicer after the rush of customers so maybe it was the stress...

Nik Nak’s Ice Cream was the perfect venue for my sister’s engagement party! The space was not only large but also had such a welcoming and spacious feel, making it easy for everyone to mingle and celebrate. The owner was so sweet, and the staff was absolutely amazing to work with—they made the whole experience seamless! One of the best parts? You have the option to add ice cream to your venue rental, but even if you don’t, the shop stays open during your event—so our guests loved being able to sneak over for a sweet treat! Plus, we had access to a private bathroom and a fun game room, which made the space even more perfect for our celebration. And to top it all off, the parking was fantastic, making it super convenient for all our guests. Highly recommend this spot for any...
